TEACHER/DANCER AUDITIONS MoW! on the Move Sinha Danse is looking for professional dancers (paid position), males and females, to participate and teach in the production of MoW! on the Move in Toronto and Brampton. Requirements: • experience in contemporary, jazz, ballet, Bollywood, Kathak or Bharata Natyam • teaching experience with non-professional youngsters and adults • good communication skills • ability to lead and guide large groups of people • maturity, patience and a good sense of humor Availabilities May-August 2018: • training session for teachers, May 24-27 Brampton & Toronto • rehearsal period with participants Brampton June 18-August 16: Monday and Thursday evenings Toronto June 26-August 16: Tuesday and Thursday evenings • dress rehearsals + shows on August 18,19 & 20 Brampton & Toronto At the audition You will learn one part of the 20 min creation. Your ability to help the choreographer teach movements to non-professional dancers will be the most important skill considered. What is MoW! ? MoW! Is a dance project combining contemporary dance and Bollywood, performed by a large group of volunteer based dancers, taught and accompanied by professional dancers. The choreography is co-created by Roger Sinha and Bollywood choreographer Deepali Lindblom, previously presented with great success and enthusiasm in 2016 and 2017 in Montreal and Ottawa.
