To ensure smooth and quiet operation, Anlev ST family movingwalkway features :

ST family moving walk is designed for efficient operation. In additionto the standard efficient worm gear drive, numerous options areavailable to enhance the energy efficiency :

Inside ST family moving walkway is an advanced ADVmicroprocessor control system designed specifically for escalatorand moving walkway applications. The ADV control system closelymonitors and controls the escalator operation with the followingcontrol capability :

> Dot matrix LCD or LED display> MP3 voice announcement> Automatic start/stop control with passenger detection and time

schedule operation> RS485 communication link for interface to BMS or remote

monitoring system.

Some key standard features of Anlev ST family of moving walkways :

The rubber composition used ensures that thehandrail surface remains smooth and intact throughout its enti reservice life.

The brake is designed to automatic stop the moving walkwaywhenever power is interrupted. To minimize wear and harsh braking,the control system monitors the speed of the pallet chain and applies

the brake only when it come to a complete stop.

The truss of the ST family of moving walk is of welded structural steelconstruction designed to carry safely the passenger and mechanismloadings. To prevent hidden corrosion, all load bearing members ofthe truss comprises of a open steel profile.

The pallet is made of one piece die-cast aluminum alloy with closelyspaced cleats designed to provide a secure foothold.

The handrail is a continuous band design manufactured of vulcanizedrubber, factory spliced, with a multi-ply fabric core and steel cordreinforcement.

The internal gliding surface has nylon webbing tominimize friction and wear.

The motor is a three phase squirrel cage AC induction motorspecifically developed for moving walkway service.

The gear unit is worm gear type composed of precision steel wormand bronze worm gear. Gears and bearings are lubricated by an oilbath inside an oil tight housing. The reduction gear unit is connectedto the pallet chain main drive shaft by a duplex roller chain.

A variety of optional features are available to enhance and extend thefunctionality :

To ensure safer riding for passengers particularly visually impaired orhandicapped,

Automatically detects approaching passengers and controls themoving walkway to run only when needed, thus allowing maximumenergy efficiency and equipment lifetime.

Motor energy controller continuously monitors motor loadingconditions and regulates the power feed into the motor. Motor energycontrol can achieve up to 30% energy saving during light or no loadcondition.

To provide better illumination, skirt and comb lighting can be fitted to allST movingwalks.

To further enhance passenger safety, dress guards can be fitted tothe skirt panels, which keep passenger away from the pallet gap andprevent accidental trapping of dresses and shoes.
