Through a detailed understanding of the factory objectives and extensive collaboration with internal and external teams, you will help sustain and improve our silicon carbide crystal growth process. to contribute to our fast-emerging company and manufacturing facility.Key responsibilities include:• Overseeing daily crystal growth process of silicon carbide (SiC)• Monitor and report performance of processes including root cause analysis of process excursion, low
yield, and overall underperformance• Identify, plan and execute projects that improve crystal growth process capability and stability• Work with R&D, Operations and other organizations to support safety, environment, quality, incoming
materials, and order fulfillments• Support discrepant material review• Designs and coordinates modifications to existing machines including placement, utilities, and
provision for future growth by working closely with operations department and senior management• Contributes to the improvement of crystal growth equipment reliability and performance in
conjunction with operations and R&D teams through various methods including 5S, Lean, DOE, SPC, and model-based problem solving.
• Evaluates PM schedules and methods ensuring minimal equipment downtime by analyzing MTBF/MDT and recommending PM improvement program based on TPM.
• Critical Success Factors / Competencies:• Leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills to work effectively within the highly motivated and
self-directed team.• Broad range of technical skills and knowledge, including engineering, process control, mechanical and
electrical equipment and system, troubleshooting, process cooling and extrusion.• High initiative, proactive and sense of urgency.• Ability to leverage knowledge to achieve overall business objectives.• Good organization skills and discipline.Required Qualifications:• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering is required• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
