n  Have current CPR/AED certification & maintain that certification

n  Previous employment with Campus Recreation of at least one semester

n  Good customer service, communication and organizational skills

n  Previous experience with money transactions

n  Responsibilities

n  Arrive to work on time

n  Find your own sub when needed

n  Wear proper uniform and attire to each shift

n  Clock in

n  Keep up with updates on activities, events and notices (email and/or messages at desk)

n  Have a radio on you

n  Properly utilize Fusion software, complete iPad forms, distribute equipment and perform money transactions

n  Answer incoming calls

n  Enforce Campus Recreation policies

n  Report all hazards to SERC Manager

n  Lead in the direction and implementation of risk management/safety policies and be familiar with Emergency Action Plan

n  Attend all required meetings and training sessions

n  Responsibilities n  General (same as Membership Services: substitution, EAP, uniform, at work on time) n  Assist the Membership Services Staff n  Assist Field House Attendant with set up of equipment n  Know what events and activities are happening during your shift and know responsibilities n  Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed by staff and patrons

n  Follow substitution and call out procedures n  Follow appropriate disciplinary action: warning system n  Additional responsibilities when opening and closing the building

+ Intramurals & Club Sports Graduate Assistants: Scott Lotze & Ben Bunker

n  Responsibilities n  Assist the Intramural Coordinator with supervision, training, and leadership of all

Intramurals, Club Sports and employees

n  Participate in orientation, homecoming, departmental special events, and other all-campus activities

n  Serve as on duty professional one or two nights a week and as the weekend on call professional as part of the established rotation

n  Assist Facility Coordinator and Ice Arena Manager as needed

n  Manage and participate in special events sponsored by Campus Recreation and all other Campus Departments as requested

n  Participate in campus committees as designated by supervisor

n  Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures including anti-hazing workshops for Club Sports

n  Oversee intramural employee scheduling through SubItUp

n  Must possess a bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport management, physical education or related field

n  This position requires excellent customer service skills and knowledge of Collegiate Intramurals and Club Sports

n  The graduate assistant must be able to interact effectively with students, staff and faculty

n  The graduate assistant must also be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher…etc.

n  Dressed and act in a professional manner

n  Preferred Requirements n  Experience working in a Collegiate Recreation setting

n  Experience working with Intramurals and/or Club Sports

n  Certified in CPR/AED and First or willing to obtain certification
