Mount MaryCreates
Creativity is part of who we are at Mount Mary. A big part.
Together with us, you will learn new and exciting ways to think, to collaborate, to personalize your college experience and to be at the leading edge of your future career.
Most importantly, you’ll appreciate the surprises of discovery and focus less on finding one, perfect answer. Because for us, creativity is about having an open mind—to different ways of learning, living and looking at the world and interacting with it.
At Mount Mary, any future you want to create is possible.

Mount Mary: Creative CampusStudents, faculty and staff form a close-knit community where everyone is eager to collaborate and innovate by taking risks with new ideas, working together through complexities, finding solutions instead of solving problems and keeping an open mind about what’s to come in the future. This cooperative and inventive environment will help you strengthen your critical thinking and leadership skills and position you as a leader at the forefront of a competitive marketplace.

Women’s Leadership InstituteThe Institute works to inspire, educate, train and support the women of Mount Mary to help them develop their potential as transformational leaders. In addition to serving as a campus resource for research and information on women’s issues, the Institute sponsors leadership programs and events throughout the year, including the Voices of Leadership Speaker Series, which brings together influential women leaders to share their experiences, stories and advice to inspire participants about their own leadership potential.
“I’m proud to see women taking control of their own lives and wanting to better themselves. I’m proud of Mount Mary for helping us bring to life what we see in our heads for ourselves. They’re helping us fulfill our dreams.”

Mount Mary Creates a New Way of Thinking
At Mount Mary University, you learn more than what. You also learn who, why, where, when—and how. How you can combine seemingly unrelated topics to create something new and unexpected. How you can predict and prevent problems before they happen. And how you can accomplish so much more in an environment where professors and students support each other and push one another to excel.
Everyone here is a free thinker. They’re pushing themselves. They’re not confined in that box. It’s something you would never expect about an all-women’s Catholic school.

Studying in Rome really helped me see things from a different cultural point of view, which will enable me to be an effective problem solver.

The small class sizes and one-on-one encouragement from my professors helped me gain the confidence I never had before attending Mount Mary. Additionally, learning from professors in or retired from the fashion industry helped me network and gave me real-life perspectives.

Caroline ScholarshipThe Caroline Scholars program shaped my entire college experience. I was first drawn to it because of the amazing opportunity of full tuition and room and board, but what I gained went far beyond that: a deep understanding of social justice, community involvement and a marvelous support system of women at various stages in their college careers who helped me transition from a timid freshman into an involved sophomore.
