♥♥EVERY CHILD IS BORN MUSLIM♥♥
Abu Huraira, narrated that the Prophet said, "Every child is born with a true faith (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) but his parents convert him to Judaism or to Christianity or to Magainism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?" Then Abu Huraira recited the holy verse: "So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islâmic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allâh Alone) Allâh's Fitrah (i.e. Allâh's Islâmic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalqillâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. Reference: HADITH-BUKHARI 2.440. ![Page 59: Motivational Parents slides](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022070521/58ef6d7e1a28ab7f0d8b4583/html5/thumbnails/59.jpg)
I
Important ways parents can support their children’s learning at home:
1) Promote good study habits
◦ Set aside a place for children to do their homework.
◦ Make sure homework is completed and ready to bring to school the next day.
◦ Check daily for notes sent from school.
![Page 60: Motivational Parents slides](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022070521/58ef6d7e1a28ab7f0d8b4583/html5/thumbnails/60.jpg)
2) Talk with children about their school day.
◦ Listen carefully;
◦ Ask caring questions; and
◦ Share thoughtfully your beliefs, ideas, goals, and feelings.
![Page 61: Motivational Parents slides](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022070521/58ef6d7e1a28ab7f0d8b4583/html5/thumbnails/61.jpg)

This can prevent children from getting into risky behaviors such as lying,
stealing, joining a gang, using alcohol or drugs, etc.

When families are involved in learning, the research shows, "students achieve more,
regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnic/racial background, or the parents' education level."
