We give our food to hundreds of missions and human service agencies in nearly 70 countries around the world—organizations that know how to get things done in chaotic conditions. Working in their own cultures, our partners use the meals to operate schools, orphanages, hospitals, ministries, and feeding programs—development work that not only feeds people for today, but transforms the very futures of the children, families, communities, and nations they serve.

Each year, more than 525,000 volunteers—from families, churches, businesses, and civic groups—hand-pack meals at one of our permanent sites or MobilePack™ events around the U.S. Working as teams in two-hour shifts, volunteers fill and seal bags of food, enjoying a fun atmosphere and the satisfaction of making a measurable impact on hunger.

Volunteers and other donors pay for 100% of FMSC meals. We receive no government aid. With each meal costing less than 25¢, donations of any amount make a big difference.

The approach is simple: Volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and we send them to partners building more-successful communities in nearly 70 countries around the world.

Every day, FMSC produces enough food for 340,000 children. Each of these meals costs only 24¢ to make and 93% of total donations support the food program.

Founded in 1987, we are the original and largest supplier of nutritionally complete, packaged dry meals for the world’s hungry.

Food scientists developed our all-vegetarian MannaPack™ Rice meals to quickly reverse and prevent malnutrition. A power-packed formula of 20 vitamins and minerals—added to dried vegetables, soy protein, and rice—provides complete nutrition for a child to grow and thrive.
