Most Market Roundup July 04th,2017 BLACK FOX EQUITY Market Sensex 31209.79 (-0.04) Nifty 9613.30 (-0.02) Closing Bell: BSE Sensex closed lower by 12 points, or 0.04%, to 31,210, while the Nifty 50 fell 2 points, or 0.02%, to 9,613. Indian shares swung between gains and losses on Tuesday, after rising more than 1% in the previous session, as investors booked profits in recent outperformers such as ITC, although energy firms gained on lower oil prices. Indexes had risen for three consecutive sessions as consumer goods firms rallied on hopes of reaping benefits from the Goods and Services Tax (GST), which replaced more than a dozen federal and state levies. BSE Sensex fell 12 points to close at 31,210 points while NSE Nifty fell 2 points to close at 9,613 points. Cigarette maker ITC, which hit a record high and drove the markets higher on Monday, was down 0.79%. The Nifty Auto index was down 0.62%, with Hero MotoCorp Ltd and Bajaj Auto Ltd sliding 1.7% and 1.05% respectively. Among gainers, energy stocks led, with Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) climbing more than 2% each after oil prices retreated. The Nifty Energy index was up as much as 1.52%. Debt-laden stocks fell. Jaiprakash (Jaypee) Associates Ltd fell 8.4%, Reliance Communications Ltd (RCom) 4.4%, GMR Infrastructure Ltd 4.3%, Adani Power Ltd 3.1%, RattenIndia Infrastructure Ltd fell 2.8%, IFCI 2.5%, Tata Communications Ltd 2.5%, Indian Hotel Ltd 2.4%, Amtek Auto 2.2%, Banking stocks fell. Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) 1.8%, Andhra Bank 1.6%, Axis Bank 1.3%, Allahabad Bank 1.3%, IDBI Bank 1%, Punjab National Bank 1%, State Bank of India 0.8%. Videocon Industries Ltd shares hit 5% upper circuit for sixth consecutive sessions and gained 33% in this period. The stock was trading at Rs22.85 on BSE, up 5% from its previous close. Just Dial Ltd shares fell 2.5% to Rs372 after the company said its chief financial officer Ramkumar Krishnamachari, resigned. Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd rose 3.3% to Rs1,033.15. The stock gained six out of seven trading sessions and rose 11% in this period on the hopes of higher sales as GST Lowered Tax. Its average taxes on customer bills comes down to 18% from 20%. Jindal Poly Films Ltd rose 3% to Rs416.50 after the company said it will acquire Netherlands-based Apeldoorn Flexible Packaging Holding BV through its subsidiary in an all-cash deal, marking its foray into the load security films market. Siva Cement Ltd rose 14.5% to Rs32 after JSW Cement bought 4.12% in Shiva Cement in last four sessions. Wockhardt Ltd rose 1.2% to Rs612.15 after the company said it has received approval from the US health regulator (USFDA) for generic Olopatadine HCl eye drops used for the treatment of opthalmic allergies. Aviation stocks trade higher. Jet Airways India Ltd rose 0.7%, InterGlobe Aviation Ltd rose 1.7%, SpiceJet rose 0.2%. Asian currencies were trading mixed. Philippines peso was up 0.23%, Japanese yen 0.12%, Singapore dollar 0.05% and Malaysian ringgit 0.04%. News: A hike in taxes on gold sales in India could stoke under-the-counter

buying and drive up the appetite for precious metal smuggled into the country, where millions of people store big chunks of their wealth in bullion and jewellery.

India’s $750 billion sovereign-debt market is caught in a tug of war between foreign investors and state-run banks, the biggest holders of the securities. As lenders sold 952 billion rupees ($14.7 billion) of sovereign bonds last quarter, overseas funds added more than 422 billion rupees to their holdings of the debt.

Cable TV and broadband services provider GTPL Hathway made a quite debut on BSE on Tuesday, as the scrip got listed at its issue price of Rs 170. Unlike CDSL, D-Mart, Hudco, S Chand and other recent IPOs, which had seen spectacular response to their IPOs, GTPL’s IPO was subscribed merely 1.53 times during the offer period between June 21 and 23.

Jewellery maker Titan Company Ltd. said in a media release that the current fiscal year has started off on a good note and that growth has been very good particularly in the jewellery business.

Sequent Scientific Ltd. in an exchange filing said that its subsidiary Alivira has received three product approvals in Ukraine. The products, scheduled to be launched shortly have already been shipped to the country. Alivira, which entered Ukraine, the largest egg and poultry market in Europe is expected to make a significant contribution to the company's growth as another six products are under registration, the filing said.

India's new Goods and Services Tax will remove barriers to domestic trade which should support productivity gains and GDP growth over the long-term, Fitch Ratings said in a report.

Omkar Speciality Declines Post Expansion Plans - Shares of the speciality chemicals company fell as much as 7.17 percent, the most in a month, to Rs 86.10 after it announced its expansion plans by scaling up activities in the existing segments like pharmaceuticals. The company also said that it would like to penetrate into segments like fragrances and flavours, foods and beverages in which new products will be launched in the immediate future. The company also plans to stake claim for intellectual property rights for the new products under launch. It is also looking for acquisitions in the said business segments.

NCLT Admits Insolvency Resolution Application Against Jyoti Structures The National Company Law Tribunal admitted an insolvency resolution application filed by State Bank of India Ltd. against Jyoti Structures Ltd. The amount extended to the company under a working capital consortium agreement by SBI was Rs 1,227.25 crore. The company had entered into a master restructuring agreement on September 29, 2014. Jyoti Structures Ltd. last week became the first case to be heard by the Mumbai bench of the NCLT. During the hearing, the company admitted that it was in advanced negotiations with a potential buyer to sell the company as a going concern. The company also said that it does not object to any debt restructuring or insolvency proceedings initiated by the lenders.
