This batcher is a two-compartment container; the outer silo is for water and has a 2-cu. yd. capacity. This compartment has a butterfly-type discharge gate of 6 diameters and pneumatic actuator. The inside component weighs crushed ice and has a volume of 1.43 cu. yd. The batcher has a live bottom discharge with three 12-in.-diameter screw conveyors. The conveyors can load the ice/water mixer to the plant’s feed gate at about 61,600 lb. per hr.
