Empower 3’s QuickStart user interface is a single-window dashboard that streamlines all of the steps in your workflow.

Empower 3 includes capabilities, such as tailored reports,

and an award-winning online help system that minimizes

training time and expense. With these capabilities, results

can be generated within Empower, eliminating the need for

spreadsheets and external software packages.

With Electronic Record Regulatory (i.e., 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11)

capabilities and compliant electronic signatures, Empower 3 takes

data integrity, advanced security, and audit trails to new levels.

Empower 3’s powerful features make it easy to focus on running

Empower 3 provides all the

software functionality your

laboratory staff needs to efficiently work with chromatography

data. It is equipped with unique interface options that are designed

When users log in, they are presented with the appropriate user

interface for their assigned tasks: QuickStart, Pro or Walk-Up.

With appropriate permissions, they can also choose the desired

interface for their current task.

■■ QuickStart is a single-window interface that highlights where

the user is within the application at all times, presenting the

appropriate functionality when the user needs it. QuickStart

allows users to perform the task they need without any

confusion. With QuickStart you can easily develop new

methods, including PDA and MS data extraction. You can

also customize reports, manage data with flexibility and

automatically receive results and notifications via email.

■■ The Pro user interface is perfect for system administrators

or anyone who needs total control and access to all

software functions.

■■ Walk-Up allows a user to easily submit samples for routine

analysis and generate results without having to be a

chromatography expert.

■■ The Empower Mobile interface provides wireless access to users,

quality reviewers, and IT managers from a tablet or smartphone

to allow them to monitor system status, review and signoff

reports, and perform routine system administration tasks.

As an example of the breadth of technology that Empower 3 offers, the software can control MS instruments and acquire and process MS data. Spectral information from multiple detection modes can be viewed simultaneously. This enables scientists to easily perform complex analyses with minimal training, increasing lab productivity.

integration capabilities with its

ApexTrack™ Technology. ApexTrack

provides automated and reliable peak

integration, with effective detection of

poorly-resolved or low-level peaks on

noisy or sloping baselines, allowing you

to process data quickly and minimize

the need for manual integration.

In addition to Waters HPLC and UPLC

systems, Empower 3 controls multi-

vendor HPLC, IC, GC, and CE systems,

allowing you to maximize your CDS

investment. A simplified IT landscape will
