Kreiter came from Tip- ecanoe where he attended Yiton high school. He then moved to Vermont where he graduated from the Sterling School in 1976 John is a 1978 graduate of Vincennes University and holds an AS degree in conservation law enforcement He’s also had courses at the university relating to criminal law and police operations. John was employed through the Marhall County Police Department, Plymouth, where he served as their process server since his graduation from Vin- cennes. Bob and Kate Mav. owners of the Lakeview Tavern attended town board meetings to protest the site of the nvdrant They were told then that their protest would be taken into consideration by the town board members. CULVER SCHOOL BOARD MEETS Culver - The Culver School board met Monday night at the auditorium and ac- cepted the bids by Ingwalk Johnson Rooting ot Plymouth for the repair of the high school roof at a cost of $112,000. They also approved ad- vertising for bids on con- verting to total energy to NIPSCO at the high school. Approval was given to advertise to use $25,000 from the cumulative building fund for the high school tracK tor resurfacing It was thought lhat it would not cost that much and only the funds needed would be used. Member Margeret Clark made a motion that the meetings no longer be rotated to different locations Culver - The promotion of Kenneth E. Grether to Manufacturing and Methods Coordinator at the McGill Mfg. Co., Inc., Culver has been announced by D. W. Hamilton, vice president and plant manager, effective July 1. Kenneth is a 1964 graduate of Peru high school In 1967 he received an associate degree in business ad- ministration from In- ternational College in Fort Wayne. Ken started with McGill December 1967 in the ac- counting department, in 1972 he moved to the Droduction control department. He started working in the in- dustrial engineering department in 1973 ana served in that capacity until his recent promotion. The bride made her own gow n and veil and wore her m other’s headpiece in her w edding. She also wore an heirloom necklace which be­longed to the g ro o m 's family. The bride also arranged her ow n bouquet and all the w edd ing party corsages, constructing them from silk flowers.

H ousew ork is n ’t one of m y f a v o r i t e t h i n g s . Neither is m oving. But, I ’m a firm believer that if a house gets loo d irty the sim p le st w ay to so lve the problem is to move.

M y beliefs a re n ’t shared by the m a jo r it y of the populace, though. W h ich is p r o b a b l y a g o o d t h i n g because som e o f them are rea lly not too practical.

F o r instance. I believe that a person should trade c a rs when the ash tra y gets full or it r u n s out of g a s - w hichever com es first.

M r . H ep le r w as born on February 24. 1914 at Terre Haute. Heple r was m arried October 15. 1955 to Ruth H and , who preceded him in death on February 3.1970.
