Main users roles in Moodle
1) Site administrator - can "do everything" on the site (Administrateur de site),
2) Course creator - can create courses, ( Createur de cours )
3) Teacher - can manage and add content to courses,(Ensignant)
4) Non-editing teacher can grade in courses but not edit them, ( Tuteur )
5) Student - can access and participate in courses, (Etudiant)
6) Guest - can view courses but not participate (Invité)

Profile page It display options, such as a list of your courses, forum and blog entries and and a link to edit your profile ( Password, Personal information, contact … )
Messages pageMoodle can alert you when you have new messages from your teacher and other participants. You can receive alerts about new forum posts or graded assignments and more.

Using Moodle as teacherAs teacher, Moodle gives you all actions that helps you to manage your course and enable you to deliver competences to your student.
As teacher ( Course creator), you can : Create new course, Add and edit course content ( links, files, audios/ videos ...), Enroll users, Manage grads and evaluations,
Create new course By default teacher can’t add new courses, you need Administrator or
course creator right to do it. To create a course:
Courses → Add a new course → Fill in course information

Edit course contentCourse in Moodle can contain different types of content, such as :
Documents ( DOC, PDF, PPT, … ), External links ( wikipedia, Official websites, … ), Audios / Videos ….
You can edit content by Turning on editing mode

Add other resources

Enroll users* The process of adding students to courses is
called Enrollment This is different from adding users to the platform.
* Moodle gives 3 ways to enroll into a course : Manual: teacher add all students,Auto-enroll: Students are add by themselves,Guest enrollment: any guest can participate
to the course.
