•I like this magazine because it focuses on the style of music I like. It includes photo shoots of bands and is set out in a way that reflects the music. This can be seen in the masthead font which gives an edgy, rock effect.

•Photography is modern and attractive and portraits the bands

and there music style.

•The layout is also modern and up to date. They have used a theme of black, white and red for there front cover.

•Attitude’s of the magazine are shown in there rock/metal style. They appeal to people who like this music.

Who its aimed at…

•I think this magazine is aimed at people who like rock and metal music. The age I think it is mainly targeting for are teenagers and young adults. The reason for this is because this style of music is enjoyed more by a younger generation.

•The average circulation figures for each issue of this magazine is 43,253.

•Kerrang have made a brand by also having a website and radio station. They have also produced albums and host the Kerrang tour.

•The photography in this magazine is eye catching but does not portrait a rock feel like Kerrang does.

• The music style and layout is more sophisticated and simple, but still pleasing on the eye.

•The large picture on the front draws you in to read the main cover line.

•They have used a theme of red and white which goes well with there masthead.

•This magazine is aimed at people who like this style of music. I think the age range for this magazine would be a bit older, targeting people in there late teens or twenties. This being because it is more sophisticated and less edgy.

•The average circulation figures for each issue of this magazine is 40,948.

•NME also has a website that people can go on to read articles and such.
