At the end of the session, annual exams were taken from 1st to 20th April. Teachers share stress of the students and help them to understand and learn all the concepts in school only. This facilitates students to revise the previously learned topics throughout the year. After exams students did some fun learning activities.

Annual Results declaration The results declared on 9/5/2015. Students were counseled based on their performances. They are conveyed their strengths and weaknesses.

Incentives Distribution Incentives distributed among students for the month of April 2015 for their 100% attendance.

Earth Day

On 22nd April, Earth Day celebrated in school. Students made awareness posters on theme ‘Save Mother Earth’. All the students participated in poster making. They made posters and banner by using sand and dried leaves. The different techniques were used, such as finger painting, water color painting, hand painting and crayon coloring. Outcome- It develops caring attitude in students toward mother earth. They became aware about the present situation of earth and the attention needed to save Earth. The various facts and measure to be taken to save earth shared with students.

Heritage Wall

Students draw the scenery of village culture based on their observation. Outcome- Kids showed the interest in drawing the sketches of their culture.

NATIONAL SYMBOLS

Students displayed 18 national symbols of India. Drawings were made on national symbols. They had revised the concept. Outcome- Students gained knowledge about national symbols of India. They come to know about the history of national symbols.

Warli Painting

Warli is the vivid expression of daily and social events of the ‘Warli’ tribe of Maharashtra, used by them to embellish the walls of village houses. Students of class VII did Warli painting on pot. Outcome-They learned the warli folk style of painting.

Wall Mural

Students of class VII and VIII painted the wall mural of Lord Krishna. Outcome- Students learned to draw and paint wall mural. They had participated in the

activity with great enthusiasm.

eco-friendly rangoli

Instead of using traditional rangoli colors, students decorated the rangoli with recycled

materials as sand, colored pebbles, green leaves and dried leaves fallen from trees.

Outcome – Students learned to use of eco friendly material in rangoli decoration.

Coloured Thorns

Students of class VII colored thorns brought from the nature and placed it in pot. This

activity enhanced the use of things found in nature. They colored it by using different acrylic

colors.

Outcome- Students learned to use natural things for decoration purpose.

Significance of Tricolours in Indian flag

The Importance of tricolours in national flag of India was shared with students. Student

of class VII did drawing of national flag and had also explained the importance of its

color.

Outcome- Student gained knowledge about significance of color of Indian national flag.

English Enrichment – Cursive Writing

The capitals, small cursive alphabets were introduced to the students. They also wrote cursive words and sentences. Outcome- Students learned the cursive writing.

Science

Students studied the parts and functioning of the human digestive system. On the basis knowledge gained the student of class VII made the neatly labeled sketch of it. They have also learned about ameba and made labeled drawing of it. Outcome- Students learned about ameba and digestive system.

During the class room studies students learned about the production of hydroelectricity. They had understanding the role of dam in producing electricity. Kids made a poster on the basis of gained knowledge.

Outcome- Students understand the mechanism of dam.

Summer vacation started for small kids from 17th of April. It’s time for summer camp for senior students. This camp is designed with lots of fun filled and vocational activity.
