Monochromatic Thirds

For this piece, I used the typography from an NYPD poster on www.vernaculartypography.com. I've used a monochromatic colour guide which gave different similiar hues and shades of the original blue colour of the font. I've also made use of the rule of thirds by placing my work in the upper third of the piece. I have drawn faint lines to demonstrate the rule of thirds on the canvas.
