She began her corporate career at boston.com where she developed effective online marketing campaigns for major clients such as Dunkin Donuts and Fleet Bank. While pursuing her MBA, she was selected by the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation Small Business Initiative to be a student participant on a team of seasoned consultants from Booz Allen. Petia went on to work for Ralph Lauren where she successfully steered the transition of their off-price product line management from the United States to Asia. For the past 10 years as Principal of The Stylista Group, Petia and her team have developed and implemented digital marketing plans that have produced outstanding measurable results. The Stylista Group has a niche focus in helping Legacy Lifestyle and Luxury Brands to connect with present day customers by harnessing the power of their brand stories and collaborating with Micro-Influencers. 2. Josie Adams | Vice President Global R&D Commercialization & New Product Engineering, Avon Products, Inc.Josie’s R&D experience spans leadership of all core Beauty Care categories and the entire range of the product innovation process from upstream new technology to product development and now to R&D commercialization. She joined Avon in 2003, assumed increasing responsibilities across Color, Fragrance and mark develop-ment teams where she led identification and development of many first-to-market, award-winning innovations. Josie took on additional responsibility for Global New Product Engineering & Development (NPED). In addition to a strong track record of consumer-driven innovation, Josie is known for strategic thinking, people and organization development, and effectively driving change. Mariana Agthoklis | VP, Corporate and Brand Communications, VerizonMariana Agathoklis is Vice President of Corporate and Brand Communications for Verizon, overseeing media, analyst and influencer relations for the company’s big brand priorities, global content, corporate communications, leadership communi-cations and more. She thinks her team is fantastic and is the proud mother of an eighteen month old baby boy.

Tina Allan | EVP Data Solutions, BBDOTina Allan joined BBDO New York’s leadership team in November of 2015 in the newly created role of EVP, Director Data Solutions with the goal to help make “the work - work even better.” She has been building the analytical and marketing science prac-tice – a new division and offering at BBDO, where data x context x creativity is an eco-nomic multiplier for clients. 5. Carol Barash | CEO & Founder, Story2Since 2008 I’ve been obsessed with the power of storytelling to transform opportuni-ty for individuals and communities. I’m especially attracted to story as a technology to break down geographic, linguistic, and cultural boundaries. I founded Story2 to teach people around the world how to tap into the science of storytelling to advocate for themselves and their communities. 150K+ people have used our Moments Meth-od® to tell their stories and achieve their goals. For 20 years before that, I was an award-winning college English teacher who tackled big problems at the intersection of education, technology, and community: bringing unpublished women authors into the classroom; creating online spaces for people living with breast cancer and HIV; and building dialogue programs connecting Palestinian, Israeli, and US students and teachers. I graduated from Yale, summa cum laude as a Scholar of the House, com-pleted an MA at the University of Virginia and a PhD at Princeton. My publications include Write Out Loud (McGraw-Hill Education), English Women’s Poetry 1649-1714 (Oxford University Press), and many short works. I am completing a collection of stories In My Father’s Voice: Whispers from a Dying Marine.

6. MichelleBennett | Senior Vice President, Human Capital Management, HearstMichelle Bennett is the Senior Vice President of Human Capital Management for Hearst, one of the nation’s largest diversified media, information and services com-panies. She joined the company in 2017 to lead the HR function for Hearst Business Media. Most recently, Michelle has transitioned into an executive leadership role in which she leads the newly-created HR function across Hearst’s corporate groups. Mi-chelle’s career in Human Resources spans more than 20 years. Before joining Hearst, Michelle served as Chief Human Resource Officer at STV, Inc. and People Manager for the Americas at GHD. She provided leadership in executing HR strategy in areas that included company culture, employee training and development, total rewards, change management, organizational and performance management, along with supporting company growth through mergers and acquisitions. Michelle is a member of the New York City Junior League and Advancing Women Executives (AWE). Michelle was selected as a 2018 Business Journal Woman of Influence for the greater New York area. 7. Lisa Bernstein | Global Head of Human Capital and Administration, Apollo Global ManagementLisa Bernstein is a Senior Partner and Global Head of Human Capital and Administra-tion at Apollo Global Management. She leads the development and execution of the global human capital strategy, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, compensation and analytics, human capital and organizational plan-ning, diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement, training and devel-opment, and benefits. She champions the engagement and advancement of talented women across the firm. She also oversees all charitable giving on behalf of Apollo. 8. Claire Botnick | Lawyer & Campaign ManagerClaire is a lawyer and a political campaign professional living in New York City. She began her practice at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York primarily focusing on antitrust litigation. In 2017, she returned to her hometown of St. Louis to lead the campaign of Cort VanOstran in his bid for U.S. Congress in Missouri’s Second Congres-sional District. The campaign improved Democratic performance in the district by 17 points and broke fundraising records for Democrats in the district by raising over 2.5 million dollars.

18. Leith Hill | Founder/CEO, Leith HillEntrepreneur Leith Hill has a passion for connection to people. Leith is highly driven to better the world by connecting and empowering people through food. 19. Jan Jaffe | Owner, Center for Next Practice My focus is on how people learn from their experiences on the job. I’ve been a learn-ing officer at the Ford Foundation. I am currently working on a project to help prac-titioners use reflective practices to navigate challenges at work. I am affiliated with The Giving Practice at Philanthropy Northwest and consult to foundations around the country on professional development issues and strategy development. Earlier in my career I did social investing for the Ford Foundation and I helped start up and run an urban homesteading program for the City of Philadelphia. I have a masters in business from Wharton.

20. Nora Jordan | Partner, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLPMs. Jordan is head of Davis Polk’s Investment Management Group which advises clients on collective investment vehicles, including hedge funds, mutual funds, closed-end funds and private equity funds. Ms. Jordan acts as counsel to the adviser, the fund or the independent directors, depending on the client. Many of her matters involve advising clients concerning compliance with the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act. In addition to having led Davis Polk’s Investment Manage-ment Group for 14 years, Ms. Jordan has taken on various other leadership roles at the firm throughout her career, including serving as Chair of Davis Polk’s Compensa-tion Committee and as a member of the Recruiting Committee. Ms. Jordan has played a significant role in the firm’s women’s initiatives. She was the first female lawyer to make partner after working part-time, which she did for 4.5 years as an associate. As a partner, she led Davis Polk’s part-time program and successfully recruited back to the firm ex-Davis Polk lawyers who had been staying home with children. In 2003, The American Lawyer featured her on the cover of its Women in Law issue.

21. Beatrice Kahn | President, Board Chair, National Council of Jewish WomenBeatrice Kahn is the president of the NCJW Board of Directors. Kahn is a lifelong resident of New York City, a lawyer by training and a prolific volunteer activist. Kahn moved to the board’s leading role after serving as vice president of the board for three years. She has been deeply engaged in improving the organization’s financial systems and increasing membership engagement, as well as advocating for the is-sues the organization pioneers. Kahn was the chair of NCJW’s Trafficking Work Group from 2013-2014 and helped to develop and launch Exodus: NCJW’s Anti-Sex Traffick-ing Initiative. She has also contributed extensively to training members on board building, fundraising, membership, advocacy, and creating a vision and plan for the future.
