100% Attendance is a fantastic achievement and we would like to congratulate all the students who received an award last Wednesday morning. We hope to see more students receive this award for this term.. PERMISSION NOTES BACK TO SCHOOL During the year, we organise many varied excursions and events here at Westport. All notes given to students have to be returned directly to the class teacher, or the teacher that is organising the event, in an envelope with the permission note and correct money enclosed for each student attending. Our school office and our canteen bank daily therefore no change is available. The office is a very busy place each morning therefore it is compulsory that your child take their note and money direct to their teacher. This ensures that your child’s teacher is aware that the payment has been made. It is also recommended that all notes and money be returned prior to the day of the excursion. SCHOOL PHOTOS We have received our school photos and they have been handed out today. We have group photos that are on display in the office and these can be ordered online. The group photos are: Choir Members, School Leaders and Year 6 Fun Photo. Enquiries can be made at the office.

ANZAC Day March Well done and thank you to all the students who marched behind our Westport PS banner and the Hastings Valley Community of Schools banner at the Anzac Day March last Tuesday. Congratulations to the following students for representing our school: Kindergarten: Hayden, Jake, Swapnil, Tallon, Josh, Ruby, Riley, Mikey, Isabel, Daena, Ella, Lily, Hollie, Hannah and Jhett Year 1: Mason, Hunter, Shanece, Sienna, Darcy, Chris, Maddison and Jemma Year 2: Orlando, Cory, Jamie, Sophie, Harry, Michael and Blake Year 3: Ruby, Matilda, Hannah, Shakiah, Murphy, Liam, Haley, Sean-Renee and Ashley Year 4: Larnie, Kaleena, Connor, Ella, Charlotte and Raven Year 5: Montanna and Chelsea Year 6: John, Georgia, Douglas, Jorja, Montana, Blair, Charlee, Savannah, Jarrod and Michaela Congratulations to William and Jasmine who marched with the Sea Scouts. Thank you to Savannah, Michaela and Jarrod, our school leaders, who laid a wreath upon the War Memorial on behalf of our school. A big thank you also to those staff members who gave up their time to march with the students! Nicole Osborne
