We have the great pleasure to invite anglers from all over the world to participate in the 5th Vefsna Sea Trout Festival and to take part in the World Championship of Sea Trout Fishing 2010 – from August the 12th to the 14th .

As last year the competition is to be held in one of the best sea trout river in Europe – Vefsna – and the near by smaller river Fusta (among the top 5 sea trout rivers in Norway.

Classes: Fly fishing – with max 39 participants Spin fishing – with max 21 participants. Team competition (team with two participants)

Aug 12th: Before 13.00 registration at the secretariat in Fru Haugans Hotel. At 14.00 Opening of the competition - Drawing of lots At 16.00 Technical meeting – Fru Haugans Hotel At 19.00 Starting up the transport to the rivers At 20.30 First competition round (to 00.30)

Aug 13th: At 09.00 Transport to activities – from Fru Haugans Hotel -Visiting the arenas (rivers and lake) for the World Championship of Fly fishing 2013. -Sailing trip on the fjord -Fishing trip to Hattfjelldal At 15.00 Late lunch in the town centre At 19.00 Starting up the transport to the rivers At 20.30 Second competition round (to 00.30)

Aug 14th: At 08.00 Starting up the transport to the rivers At 09.30 Third competition round (to 14.00) At 11.00 Children competition (to 14.00) - registration in the garden of Fru Haugans Hotel. At 17.00 -Prize ceremony for the children competition -Prize ceremony for The World Championship – -Individual – team – biggest fish -Entertainment At 20.00 Banquet at Fru Haugans Hotel.

Aug 15th: Individual guided trips to visit the competition arenas (rivers and the lakes) for The World Championship of Fly fishing 2013.
