Living with Good DesignThe Museum of Modern Art is committed to sharing the most thought-provoking modern and contemporary art—works that fuel creativity and create conversations. Building on the Museum’s mission of recognizing design as a key discipline of our time, we are committed to bringing good design to everyone.

This year we’re focusing on vibrant colors, beautiful shapes, and designs that bring joy to everyday living. New tabletop offerings that feature patterns by pioneering prewar textile designer Marguerita Mergentime, new skateboards that showcase the artwork of Yayoi Kusama, and our Herstory of Art accessories are also part of our selection. As always, each product we sell has been approved by MoMA curators.

De StijlThe designs on this page were produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of De Stijl and to celebrate its lasting influence. De Stijl, the Netherlands- based art movement, embraced an abstract, minimalist aesthetic grounded in the basic visual elements of simple geometric forms, lines and primary colors. The movement’s central figures were the painters Piet Mondrian and Theo van Doesburg.
