The real reason behind: The Fall of Mohenjo-Daro

Mohenjo-Daro was the areas first democracy. People from all over flocked to Mohenjo-Daro because of the the freedom of the people and strong economy. In fact the economy was so strong they became the economic example for all of India.

Chapter 1: The Geel Budhil Years

New businesses were popping up every day and prosperity was at a high. Then Geet Budhil, the President of Mohenjo-Daro got wind of a terrible group of radicals called the Tijils killing people in northern India.

Geet Budhil wanted to help so he sent his troops to the north to fight for the freedoms of the people. The Mohenjo-Daro Delegation (similar to congress) did not agree with this decision to fight and neither did the Mohenjo-Daro Times or MDNBC. They bashed the President for sending the troops into battle against the Tijils.

People were becoming increasingly angry with President Geel Budhil. He was spending a lot of money on the war and Mojeno-Daros’s economy was slowly slipping. Almost everyone wanted him out of office. Little did they know their wishes were going to come true soon enough.

Soon the elections for President arrived and before you know it Barindra H. Omkar was elected. No one knew were he came from because he did not want to show his birth certificate. But, he gave more than 500 promises to the people. Everyone loved him, hailing him as Krishna himself.

Chapter 2: They got what they asked for

Because there was so much propaganda surrounding him few bothered to to ask important question to find out what he was REALLY about. In this case the Mohenjo-Daro Times and MDNBC did not do their job. The Nobel Ignorance Committee even gave him a prestigious award.

Slowly the new President began to change the shape of Mohenjo-Daro. He passed laws that the country could not pay for. He took control of companies like Bank of Mohenjo-Daro and General Chariots. Soon after that he and the Mohenjo-Daro Delegation wanted to fix healthcare.

They soon passed the health care “reform” but really the government now controlled another once private sector industry. Even though he tried to “fix” the economy it soon sank even lower. Taxes were raised to pay for the debt and people became more and more oppressed.

Because the “rich” were paying for the debt and welfare of the unemployed people. They quit paying to go to the popular Mohenjo-Daro Bath Club. So the President took the Bath Club for himself.

The socialism got even worse turned into a fascist dictatorship and Barindra H. Omkar nominated himself Priest-King.

Now the people started to revolt and they wanted him out of office even the Mohenjo-Daro Times and MDNBC.

Chapter 3: The People have had Enough

Barindra H. Omkar appointed himself Priest-King. One day while he was there entertaining a Dictator that wanted to destory Mohjeno-Daro, the masses attacked. People rampaged the bath and killed the President and Dictator. The Presidents guards tried to protect him but they could not.

After it was over, boats full of people that packed up their belongings left Mohenjo-Daro forever. The order could not be restored and the democracy was broken. From then on no one inhabited Mohenjo-Daro and the Bath and rest of the city was left there to decay.
