An Astrological case study:

Cerebral Hypoxia which causes Hypoxic Anoxic Injury to brain & other

vital parts of body- by D.N. MISRA

BIRTH PARTICULARS OF BABY-Gender-Male; DOB- May 10, 2014; TOB- 05:09PM; POB- Moradabad,

Uttar Pradesh, India.

[A] Medical Reason:

Modus operandi of qualified medical doctors

seem alarming, consequently this case is

brought before me seeking an expert opinion.

At the time of birth when baby comes out of mother’s womb begins to respire due to sudden change

of temperature of his/her body exposed to open atmospheric temperature and this way due to

contraction of lungs again and again oxygen is supplied to blood through lungs as many times as baby

respires.

Anoxia or HAI occurs if the flow of Oxygen rich blood to a section of brain suddenly becomes blocked

and brain neurons remain dead for want of sufficient amount of Oxygen.

Anoxia or Cerebral Hypoxia can cause cognitive problem and disability and in simple term it is called HAI

that refers to Hypoxic-Anoxic-Injury. Adequate oxygen is vital for the brain and when oxygen level is

found significantly low for four minutes’ brain neurons begin to die and after four minutes’ permanent

anoxic brain Injury occurs. Cause of supply of low level of oxygen may vary case to case and

particularly in this case it is caused by malefic JUPITER & VENUS regarding which micro

analysis is given as below.

Baby does not respond to any type of sound or action and besides this Astrologically baby seems deaf &

dumb also about which medical doctors are silent / dumb like this baby till date though they strut with

their advancement in the field of medical science.

[A 1] Significators for HAI:

[1] Leo controls over the head. The planet Sun and Moon in Zodiac signs are main significators for heart

that pumps blood while Mercury controls the all nervous system.

[2] Jupiter rules arterial blood and Aquarius sign rules condition and circulation of blood.

[3] Sun gives Oxygen. Irregular supply of blood is caused by afflicted Jupiter and Aquarius sign. Afflicted

Jupiter supplies irregular blood supply or excess blood supply or low; sign indicated by ownership or

aspect indicates the injured part of the body.

[ A 2] Micro Astrological Analysis:

(1) At the time of birth DBA of SUN-SATURN-VENUS-MARS/ RAHU was running.

(2) Ascendant falls in VENUS-MARS-KETU-SATURN

(3) 6th house is occupied by VENUS in JUPITER a watery sign pisces and 6th lord JUPITER

has occupied 9th house from where Ascendant (head, brain, face etc) as well as 3rd house

(house of hearing) and 5th house (of brain) are being aspected malifically.11th house of hearing is

also occupied by MOON who is 12th lord to this house of hearing.

(4) Life span and health should be analysed to judge what is indicated by sub lord of ascendant besides what is indicated at the same time by running DBA lords, their star lords and sub lords i.e in this

case sub lord of Ascendant is KETU who is deposited with SATURN in 7th a Marak Sthan. Ketu has to

yield what SATURN is eager to put forth and SATURN is in star of JUPITER lord of 6th house

which causes desease.

(5) The second house of a horoscope rules over speech and third house# rules over hearing. The planet Mercury# is the karaka for speech and hearing#. Mute signs such as

Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces play a major role in hearing and speech for impaired natives.

This is apart from the 5th house, which governs the intellect of a person.

If these are afflicted#, the speech will be unintelligent. Mercury in the 2nd and 5th house

from ascendant confers eloquence in language and originality of ideas.

Hence any affliction# to these houses and also Mercury will cause dumbness# and

deafness. Nodes# also plays major role in this ailment.

(6) In this case baby seems like dumb and deaf,

very weak due to HAI. Its reasons are discussed as below-

6A) At the time of birth DBA of SUN-SATURN-VENUS-MARS/RAHU was running.

6B) Maha Dasa lord SUN is badhkesh for Libra born native; antara lord SATURN in star of Jupiter lord of 6th; pratyantar Dasa lord VENUS is in SATURN star & sub of RAHU aspected by JUPITER lord of 6th &

sookshma Dasa Marak lord MARS & sub of 2nd is posited in 12th

6C) Third house rules over hearing. The planet Mercury is the karaka for speech and hearing. Mute signs such as Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces play a major role in hearing and

speech for impaired natives. Third house is being aspected by MARAK MARS; JUPITER who

is lord of Sixth and SATURN who is in star of JUPITER and JUPITER is in its own star as such

it is the most malefic planet in this case. Besides this Karaka planet MERCURY is placed in

8th house.Not only this but also MERCURY is in star of MOON who is signifying eleventh

house and occupant is considered stronger than that of owner of house. Thus MOON is the

most Badhak planet in this case who is in star of SUN signifying 11th Badhak & 7th Marak

house.

6D) 1CSL KETU has occupied 7th house with SUN in VENUS star signifying 6th & 1st house and significators of both 1 & 6 cause disease.

6E) VENUS in star of SATURN and in sub of RAHU who are aspected by 6th lord JUPITER. Besides it 6th lord JUPITER is aspecting malefic ally 3rd (house of hearing) and 5th (house of intellect) house.

6F) 2CSL MARS is posited in 12th house and VENUS is posited in 6th house in MUTE sign PISCES. (Rules-The Cuspal Sub Lord of 2 & 3 should be connected with the malefics, Mute signs and the House 6, 8,

and 12, in case of the native is Deaf and Dumb by Birth.”)

6G) In coming future no Maha Dasa of planets seem fruitful to this baby.

6H) Why benevolent JUPITER though lord of 6th who is signifying 9th house is so harmful in this case has also been investigated by me at length and my apprehension proved to be true when mother of baby admitted before me yesterday that she is hyperglycemic and at

the time of birth of baby its severity was alarming that ruined bright future of this baby.

[Note- Foetus as well as Infants of mothers with diabetes are at greater risk for several problems, especially if blood

glucose levels are not carefully controlled. Birth defects are more likely in foetus and infants of diabetic mothers,

especially insulin-dependent women who may have two to six times greater the risk of major birth defects. Birth

defects usually originate sometime during the first trimester of pregnancy. They are more likely in women with pre-

gestational diabetes, who may have changes in blood glucose during that time. Overall, major birth defects may

occur in foetus and infants born to insulin-dependent women. Major birth defects that may occur in infants of diabetic

mothers include the Heart and connecting blood vessels & Brain and spine abnormalities.]

6I) In chapter 14th of Phaldeepika ,Mantreshwar has also pointed out that in case of deafness Jupiter, Mars Saturn may be

deposited in 3rd or 11th house/ or malefic aspect of these planets may also cause great

What exactly does the above mean?

Shaurya+ayaam= In the 3rd & 11nth house

aangiras= Jupiter

yama= Saturn

aaraH= Mars

sahito va driShto vaa = together (with whom?) or aspected by

shrotra= hearing problem

Now who should be together with whom?

Shauryaayam angiraso= Jupiter in the 3rd or 11nth, together with Saturn & Mars or Jupiter in the said

position and aspected by Mars & saturn, shall confer problem of hearing.

1) 3rd indicates the right ear, 11nth indicates the left ear (to be specific). 2) Jupiter is aakasha tatwa karaka for hearing [ Jupiter in this case is polluted/malefic as discussed above] 3) Karaka in Karaka sthana and aspected by 2 malefic planets shall destroy the signification of 3rd house or 11nth house Note the karaka as far as human relations is considered, it is Mars. But we are talking about the signification of

3rd & 11nth in Kalapurusha Kundali (human body).

In this respect Jupiter takes over the karkatwa of these houses being the aakash tatwa (Medium of sound transmission). When a planet is associated with two malefic it indicates roga avastha and when it is with two malefic and aspected by another one, it indicates death. In the said position, Jupiter should either be two malefic or aspected by two of them. "yamaarasahito" Earlier, he wrote Saturn & Mars. True, the common translation. But "yama" also means the lord of 8th (VENUS in this case) and "aarah" means lord of 6th house (JUPITER in this case). So as above, if Jupiter is in the 3rd or 6th, along with the lords of 8th & 6th houses or aspected by

them, problems of hearing can occur and dumbness is obvious.
