character or motives. Allegory- a symbolic representation Watch the two videos on Characterization and Allegory. Next

you should print out the two charts for references and then move on to the formative assignment.

In this activity, you will read the story, ‘The Bet,” by Anton Chekov.

After you read or listen to the short story, you are to answer the questions in “The Bet” characterization game to show what you learned from reading the story.

have read and respond to the question in the forum: Is the allegorical lesson from the Russian short stories still relevant to today’s society?

Basically, are the lessons that you learned still important to know in today’s society?
