QUESTIONS1.- Inside the History of Industry,
when do you think the action of the film happens?
- I think that the action of the film happens in the beginning because in the film, all the craftpeople were replaced by machines, and they had to work in the industries.
QUESTIONS (II)2.- How is the factory organized? What
elements of the industrial process can you see?
- There are a lot of people doing different things. Each person had a different work in an assembly line.
- There are intermediate materials, the workforce, technology (equipment needed) and the management
QUESTIONS (III)3.- Describe the work in the
factory. Is there division of labour?
- Each person was doing a different work, so there is a technical and a social division of labour
QUESTIONS (IV)4.- What differences can you notice
between working during these times and working today?
- Working during these times was harder, because there weren’t any machines that helped for doing some things, and because of that, there were more employed people. Working today is less hard than before. Now, we have a lot of machines that do a lot of things automatically, and people are replaced by them.
QUESTIONS (V)5.- Give your opinion about the film. Did you like
it?
- Yes, it liked me. The film was nice, I was laughing all the time with Charles’ movements and face expressions. From my point of view, it was really really funny. I think the actors were great, like the film. I think Charles showed really good how the industrial revolution was. I would like subtitles in the last song, because all the people was laughing but I didn’t understand anything.
