Company IntroductionModern Insulators Ltd. (MIL) is the pioneer in Aluminous High Voltage Porcelain

Insulators in India.

It was set up in 21st December, 1985 in technical collaboration with Siemens AG,

Germany, for manufacture of Aluminous High Voltage Porcelain Insulators.

MIL, now is one of the largest exporters in the country & has been honoured with

various Export Awards from Ministry of Commerce consecutively for four years.

MIL manufactures Porcelain Insulators from 33KV to 1200KV.

The eldest son of Mr. H.S. Ranka. He is a Commerce Graduate (Gold

Medalist) from University of Rajasthan & MBA from Poddar Institute of

Management, Jaipur.

Executive Director - Mr. Deepak B Deshpande

Graduate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pune, is the Unit

Head of the company.

President (Commercial) - Mr. S.D. Gupta

Heads the Finance, Accounts, Purchase & Stores portfolio. He is a Chartered

Accountant

President (Production) - Mr. Virendra Surana

Graduate in Mechanical Engineer from the MBM Engineering College,

University of Jodhpur.

Long Rod Insulators

Puncture proof Solid core, Long rod Insulator for overhead

transmission lines having distinct advantage over the conventional disc

insulators from 60 KN to 420 KN.

MIL has also developed 31mm/ KV Long rod Porcelain Insulator with

112 Kg/m3 salinity level to combat pollution in transmission system, first

time in India.

Railway Insulators

Stay Arm (1050 mm/CD) Bracket (1050 mm/CD)

MIL manufactures 25 KV OHE Insulators for Indian Railways. The insulators are duly

approved by Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO) of Indian Railways.
