CHAPTER Ⅰ BRIEF
INTRODUCTION
1.1 CHARACTERITIC
103850 full automatic tire changer is one of our series
tire changers. It is driven by the electrical and air. It is composed of automatic tire changing device, special assistant, tire pressing device, gearbox assembly, chuck, monitor system, inflation system and the tire lift up stand. It features with the advantages of novel style and easy operation. 1.2 PURPOSE, FUNCTION & APPLICATION
It is suitable to mount, demount and inflate all kinds of tube/tubeless tire of the mini/ mid-sized car. It features with Simplicity, convenience, safety and reliable. It is the necessary equipment for the auto-service shop. It is especially suitable for the mount and demount on the radial, low profile, run-flat and stiff tires. The optional equipped with the PAX special accessory can easily mount and demount the PAX explosion proof tire.
1.3 TYPE & SPECIFICATION
According to the power supply, 103850 can be
divided into 4 specifications of 110V (50/60), 220V, 380V and 400V. 1.4MEANING OF THE MODEL
Enterprise should self-definite the model of the tire changer.
1.5ENVIRONMENT CONDITION
Ambient Temperature: 0℃~45℃ RH 30~95% Max. Sea Level 1000M No dust, corrosion, flammable and exploded gas The operation space around the machine will not less than the indicated in the FIG 1.
1.6 WORKING CONDITION
1.6.1When operation, do not wear loosen clothing, long hair and jewelries. 1.6.2Operators must have the basic knowledge of

RESOURCE
Normal operation will not effect the environment and resource. But in the process of maintenance and clean on the equipment, please pay attention to the treatment on the solvent and gear oil.
1.8SAFETY
1.8.1Please especially pay attention to all kinds of safety labels sticked on the machine. 1.8.2This machine should be used by the qualified trained professional staff. The unauthorized personnel will not permitted to close to the machine when operation, 1.8.3Operators should wear safety protective facilities such as working suit, protective glasses, eye plug and safety shoes. Keep your hands and body from the movable parts as possible as you can to. Necklace, bracelet and loosen clothing may cause dangerous to the operators.
CHAPTER Ⅱ CONFIGURATION &
WORKING PRINCIPLE
2.1OVERALL CONFIGURATION AND WORKING
PRINCIPLE
This product is composed of the body, assistant, gearbox assembly; automatic changing device, chuck, tire pressing device, tire lifting stand, pedal control cabinet and manual control cabinet (see FIG1). When operation, first place the tire on the tire lift up stand and then step down the pneumatic valve to roll over the tire upwards by 90°. Then move the tire to the position over the chuck on the gearbox assembly. Step the pneumatic control valve to make the tire fall down on the chuck. The fork on the chuck will insert into the installation hole of the rim. Select the corresponding cone from the 5cones with the code from 1 to 5 to fix the rim on the chuck. Move the demount arm onto the rim. With the help of the assistant, the electrical system control motor will rotate clockwise /counterclockwise to complete the tire changing.

2.2 MAIN PART OF FUNCTION UNIT
CONFIGURATION, FENCTION AND WORKING
PRINCIPLE 2.2.1 Gearbox assembly is composed of motor, small pulley belt, large pulley belt, motor seat, gear box, belt, union, chuck base, fork pin. See Fig2. The motor is fixed on the motor seat. It can drive the large pulley belt through the small pulley belt and belt. The large pulley belt will drive the gearbox worm shaft to rotate. The union is installed on the gearbox worm shaft and connected with the chuck base. The pin is mounted on the chuck base.

2.2.2 Chuck is composed of the chuck body, chuck protective cover, cone, fork, quick nut and thread shaft. See Fig3. Mount the chuck protective cover and fork on the chuck body. There are cone and quick nut on the thread shaft assembly. When operating, mount the rim on the chuck body. Insert the fork shaft into the rim mount hole. Thread shaft assembly with the cone and quick nut will be inserted into the chuck center hole through the rim center hole. Clamp the rim by quick nut and cone.

2.2.3The assistant is installed on the right side of the body. It is composed of quadric shaft, fit bolt, press roller, hexangular shaft, upper slide, bottom slide, cylinder125X450, pin cylinder, front panel, upper panel, bottom panel and control box (see Fig 4). The quadric shaft is mounted on the body through the two fix bolts. The upper and bottom slide is mounted on the quadric

shaft and can move freely move upwards/downwards. Cylinder 125X450 is connected with the upper/bottom slide to control the movement of the slides. The slides are separately equipped with the hexangular shaft and tire pressing roller which can move axially along the slides to satisfy the requirements to change varies sizes of tires. Front panel is connected with the quadric shaft through the upper/bottom surface. The two pin cylinders are separately fixed on the upper/bottom panels to control the quadric shaft to brake at the specified point. The electrical control cabinet is mounted on the front panel and is equipped with the power indicating light, power switch, emergency switch, cross switch and knob switch etc. to realize the control on some functions of the machine. See the Fig5.

2.2.4 Tire lift up stand is composed of rollover stand, vertical movable cylinder, fixed bracket and vertical movable bracket. See Fig6. Use the left/ right fixed bracket to install the lift up stand on the front side of the body. The 2 pieces of guide shaft are mounted in the left/right fix bracket and driven by the vertical movement cylinder to move vertically. The vertical movement of the vertical movable bracket will result the rollover stand roll by 90° to make the tire vertically placed onto the rollover bracket and to be raised to some height and rollover in the horizontal and then is carried be the rolling wheel of the lift up stand.

This device is composed of the demount body, movable base, demount arm, demount head, guide shaft, cylinder holder, electrical control cabinet, cylinder 125X500, cylinder 80X350 and cylinder 70X95. See Fig 7。Automatic demount body is mounted on the left side of the machine body. The guide shaft is mounted in the demount body and the electrical control cabinet is mounted out of the demount body. The movable seat is mounted on the guide shaft and move upward/downward along the movable seat. And the demount arm is mounted on the guide shaft and move forward/backward along the movable seat. The portion of the demount head mounted on the front end of the demount arm will rotate 180° clockwise/ counterclockwise. The cylinder holder is mounted on the rear of the demount arm. Cylinder 70X95 is in the cylinder base to supply the power for the 180° rotation. One end of the cylinder 80X350 is connected with the cylinder base and the other end is connected with the movement base to provide the horizontal movement power. The front head of the cylinder 125X500 is fixed on the body. The piston rod is connected with the movement base to supply the power for the movement base to move vertically along the quadric guide shaft.

2.2.6Pedal control cabinet is connected on the body. Inside, there is pedal assembly, electrical terminal board. The plastic upper cover and grease container are fixed out of the body. The pedal assembly is composed of the lift up stand control pneumatic valve, inflation valve and electrical switch. See Fig8.

2.2.7 Tire pressing device is mounted at the top end of the machine. It is composed of the fix base, rotation arm, return arm and control box, cylinder 70X220, tire pressing lever and presser. See Fig 9.The fix base is mounted at the top of the column of the machine. Rotation arm will turn around the fix base. Return arm will turn around the rotation arm. Cylinder 70X220 and control box are mounted on the return arm and the press lever and presser will be mounted on the piston rod of piston 0X220

between each unit The body unite the assistant, gearbox assembly, automatic demount device, chuck, tire pressing device, tire lift up device and manual control cabinet. The electrical system is composed of motor, solenoid valve, various switches, cable, switch, terminal board and monitor. Motor is fixed on the gearbox
assembly and drive the gearbox to run through the triangular belt. Use the switch to control the positive/reverse rotation of the chuck. Various switches is used to control the mechanical motion of the solenoid valve and cylinder.

5.1.1Tire changer should be installed on the flat and solid floor. The distance from the back and lateral side to the wall should be at least 0.5m to guarantee the perfect air flow and heat emission and the enough operation space.

5.1.2 Do not install this machine in the site of high temperature, humidity, dust and with flammable and explosive gas.
5.2INSTALLATION PROCESS, METHODES AND
NOTES
5.2.1Before installation and debug, carefully read this manual. The unauthorized change on the parts and spare parts of the machine will cause the damage on the machine. 5.2.2Installation and debug personnel should have the specific electrical knowledge. 5.2.3Operators must be trained and authorized. 5.2.4Before installation, carefully read the equipment list. If any question, please contact with the dealers or our company. 5.2.5To ensure the success of the installation and debug, please prepare the following common tools: 1. Two wrenches(10″), one socket wrenches, one hexangular wrench, one tung and one screw driver. 2. One hammer and one millimeter 5.3CALIBRATION PROCESS, METHODS AND

5.3.1 According to the requirement of the FIG7, position the body of the machine onsite. According to the dimension indicated in the figure, fix by 4 anchors bolts M10X160. Place the rubber shock absorbs ion cushion between the machine and the ground.

5.3.2 Insert the tire lift up stand into the rollover stand according to the FIG8. And use two φ5elastic cylinder
pin to fix.

1.liftup stand 2.pin 3.rollover stand 5.3.3 Take out the cone and protective cover from the accessory box and suspend them on the cone handle. Place the thread on the corresponding fix seat. See FIG12.

5.3.4Air source has been adjusted before ex-factory. If it needs change, adjust again: Pressure: Lift up the pressure adjustable button( FIG 13-1)and twist clockwise and the air pressure will increase. Meanwhile, if counterclockwise, the air pressure will decrease. Oil Feed:Use screw driver to twist the screw(FIG13-2). If clockwise, the oil dropping speed will slow. If counterclockwise, it will become fast.

5.3.5The gap between the upper and bottom slide has been adjusted before ex-factory. After used for some times, the gap will become bigger and the assistant will crawl. Please adjust again. Adjust Method: Use the wrench (10″) to loose the 8 nuts M8. And then use 5# hexangular wrench to make the screw backwards 1/4 turn. And at last tight all the nuts. 5.3.6 Demount arm press force adjustment. Open the nut protective cove and use the wrench to adjust the press force to reach the situation that the demount arm keeps unmovable at any position. 5.4INSTALLATION, AFTER CALIBRATION
ACCEPTANCE ITE, METHOD AND STANDARD
5.4.1The machine and the floor should be firmly fixed without any relative displacement. 5.4.2Test the distance from the machine to the walls around the machine (as per the dimension of the FIG7) 5.4.3Noise:<70dB(A) 5.5PREPARATION AND STARTUP FOR TRIAL

5.5.1 Connect the corresponding power source according to the manual. 5.5.2 Connect the air source of 0.8-1.0Mpa. 5.5.3 Idle running for 3minutes to check if the electrical/pneumatic system running normal or not.

6.1PREPARITION AND CHECK BEFORE
OPERATION
6.1.1Without agreed, any change on the parts of the machine will cause the injuries/damages on the machine/personnel. 6.1.2 Pay special attention that the tire changer should be operated in the specific voltage and pressure. 6.1.3If you want to move the tire changer, you should be guided by the professional service and maintenance personnel.

6.3 STARTUP AND THE OPERATION PROCESS,
METHOD, NOTES AND PRECAUTION FOR
MISOPERATIONIN THE PROCESS OF RUNNING
6.3.1DEMOUNT TIRE 6.3.1.1. Deflate the air in the tire completely and pull out the nozzle. Use the special tool to detach the weight on the rim to prevent the rim from being damaged in the process of demounting tire. See FIG16. Fig16 Deflate and remove the weight
6.3.1.2.Choose the 3different height of the chuck according to the thickness of the tire and the position to break the bead. The principle to choose is to fix the tire in the range of the work travel of automatic demount device. The operation is to pull out the pin on the gearbox assembly and move the chuck to the next position hole and insert the pin. It is OK! See Fig 17. Fig17 Adjust the height of chuck
6.3.1.3. Place the wheel on the rollover stand. Step down the lift pedal (see Fig 8-1) to roll over the tire. Slide the tire until it is over the chuck and once again step the tire lift pedal and adjust the fork to align it to the installation hole of the rim and step down the pedal to the bottom to make the tire stably fall onto

For the special tire, please choose the universal adaptor. First adjust the mount methods of adaptors 3, 4 and 5 and then connect the adaptor with the tire and mount them on the chuck. 6.3.1.4 Mount the cone fitting the rim suitably ton the thread shaft and clamp on the external circle of the quick nut. You must equip the protective cover when use #3 and #4 cone to avoid the damage on the rim. Insert the thread shaft into the chuck through the through the rim center hole,The pin of the chuck is just clamped into the slot of the thread shaft and rotate by 50degree and then adjust the quick nut to move the cone until it is contact with the rim. Rotate the quick nut to clamp the tire. See Fig 19. Fig19 clamp the tire
6.3.1.5. Press down the button on the control cabinet(see the Fig 5),rotate the assistant to the work position. At this moment, the position pins are inserted the upper/bottom hole of the assistant. Turn the rotary button to the transit position. Move the upper/bottom tire pressing roller to the position about 2mm to the edge of the rim. And then turn the rotary switch on the manual control cabinet to the clamp position and use the brush to spread the lubricant or thick soup water between the lip and rim to decrease the resistance. Step down the turntable direction changing pedal, the turntable will clockwise or counterclockwise rotate. Operate the upper/bottom direction control valve of the upper/bottom press roller to detach the rim from the tire. See Fig 20.

6.3.1.6. Turn the demount arm control rotary button on the manual control cabinet to turn the tire detaching hook to the bottom. Operate the cross switch to move the demount head to the position about 10mm to the edge of the rim. Insert the demount head in between the rim and tire and hook the lip. Operate the cross switch to move the demount head upwards to pull the tire to the position 5-15mm higher than the rim and then operate the bottom press roller to thrust the bottom side wall of the tire by 10-20mm. Use the brush to spread the lubricant or thick soup liquid between the demount head, lip and rim. Step the chuck direction changing pedal and the chuck will turn for a round and the upper bead is detached. See Fig21,22 and 23. When deal with the stiff tire, use the tire pressing

device to lead the lip into the tire detach groove and then move the demount head upwards to pull out the tire to the position 5-15mm higher than the rim and then step the chuck direction changing pedal. 10-20mm 1. If the demount of the tire is blocked, stop at once and then raise the pedal to make the turntable counterclockwise to remove the block! 2. Necklace, bracelet and loosen clothing is easy to damage the person!
6.3.1.7. Lower the demount head to the utmost position and move the demount head to the position 10-15mm to the rim and then lift the tire until it is at the position 10-20mm higher than the plane of the rim. Step down the chuck direction changing pedal to make the chuck rotate clockwise for a round and the demount of the tire is finished. See Fig 24.

6.3.2 MOUNT TIRE:
Before mount tire, check if the tire and rim are of the same dimension! 6.3.2.1.. Move the demount head and the upper tire pressing roller to the utmost top position of the machine. And then move the bottom tire pressing roller to the most bottom position of the machine. 6.3.2.2. Clean the dirt and rust on the rim and lock it on the chuck. But the tire detaching slot must be in the

relative high position. See FIG25. Fig25 Fix rim 6.3.2.3. Spread the lubrication liquid or soap liquid around the lip. Tilt the tire against the rim and move the demount head to the position the distance of 15-20mm to the edge of the rim. Step down the chuck rotation pedal and the chuck will rotate for one turn clockwise and the bottom tire is mounted. See FIG26.

6.3.2.4. Use the upper press roller to press the tire to make it 20-30mm into the rim. Reach out the press lever of the tire presser out of from the piston rod. Operate the hand valve to make the presser to press the tire 50-80mm into the rim. Move the demount head to the position 15-20mm to the edge of the rim and then press the tire 10-20mm into the rim. Use the brush to spread the lubricant and thick soup liquid between the demount head, lip and rim. Step down the chuck direction changing pedal to rotate
the chuck clockwise to lead the upper lip completely into the tire detach groove. At this moment, continue pressing the lip just mounted on the rim. When 10~15cmof the tire not into the rim, change to the step mode. And observe the condition of the tire to avoid the tear of the tire. Once you feel there is any tear on the tire, release the pedal at once. Then lift up the pedal by instep to make the motor rotate reverse. Make the tire restore to the original condition to mount again. See Fig 27. 28.

Fig 28 Demount head is 15-20mm from the rim 6.3.3 INFLATION 6.3.3.1Common Inflation: When inflating the tire, please be carefully and series obey the operation process. Check the air route to see if the air connection is OK. This machine is equipped with an inflation gauge for monitoring the inflation of the

tire and the inflation pressure. 1、Connect the inflation hose with the tire air core. See FIG29. 2、 In the process of inflation, you should repeat stepping the inflation pedal. Confirm the pressure indicated on the pressure gauge not exceed the scope specified by the manufacturer. In this machine, there is a pressure decrease valve to keep the inflation pressure not exceed 3.5bar. Customers can get different inflation pressure by adjusting the pressure decrease valve according to their own requirement. 3、If the inflation pressure too high, you can press down the deflation press button on the inflation device to reach the required air pressure.

6.3.3.2 Rapid Inflation If the tubeless tire fit to the tire not tight, you can apply the rapid inflation first and then common inflation. 1. Clamp the wheel and connect the inflation hose. 2. Take off the inflation nozzle from the body and point it to the gap between the rim and tire. Use your hands to press the upper and bottom manual valve switch At the same time, the air in the air tank will quickly inflate into the tire. Meanwhile, Step down the inflation pedal See FIG 30. 3. Repeat stepping the pedal for many times to confirm the pressure indicated on the pressure gauge not exceeds the pressure specified be the manufacturer.

When inflating, please obey the following instructions:
1. Note:In this process, you should ensure the wheel has been tightly clamped. Or you will be in the dangerous of lose your life.
2.Warning!Explosive!
3. Carefully check if the tire and the rim are of the same
dimension and check the wear condition of the tire to
confirm the tire not damaged before inflation.
4.When the air pressure needed for inflation relatively high, you can take off the tire and to inflate under the protective cover. 5. When inflating the tire, please be carefully. Keep your hands and body away from the tire. 6.4 THE PROCESS, METHODS AND NOTES ON THE

6.4.1Demount arm in the highest position, assistant in the working position, the upper and bottom slide in the upper & bottom end, press roller returns to its original position and the tire lift up stand fall off.

Chapter IX MAINTANENCE & REPAIR
9.1DAILY MAINTANENCE, REPAIR AND CALIBRATION
Only the qualified professional personnel can execute the maintenance. Before any maintenance, Cut off the power And ensure the maintenance personnel can take charge of the power plug. Meanwhile, cut off the air supply and push

the air supply switch to the off position and completely deflate the residual air in the machine. To correctly use the tire changer and prolong its working life, it is necessary to periodically maintenance and repair according to the instruction manual. Or the running and reliability of the machine will be affected and the personnel near the machine or the operator will be injured. 9.2 MAINTANENCE AND REPAIR IN THE PROCESS OF RUNNING
9.2.1 Keep the machine and working area clean. 9.2.2Use the diesel oil to clean the hexangular shaft and quadric horizontal arm.(FIG29), Use the machine oil to lubricate. 9.2.3 Use the diesel oil to clean the turntable claw and its guide rail and use the lithium grease to lubricate. (FIG 30)。 9.2.4Periodical check the lubrication oil level in the oil fog device. If the oil level lower than the oil scale, please feed in the SAE30 lubrication oil in time(FIG 31)。 9.2.5 Periodically drain out the water and impurity in the oil water separator. 9.2.6 Periodically check and adjust the tension of the driven belt. Properly adjust the adjust nut in A and B to realize the proper tension.(FIG32) 9.2.7Connect all the connect part and tight the loosen bolt.
