Camera – How has camerawork been used to construct representation of gender

Mise en scene – How has mise en scene been used to construct representation of gender?

The woman is standing at the front of the image therefore this represents her as superior and brave as she would be the first one to come across/see the danger. Additionally the camera is situated at a low angle resulting in the woman looking taller and broader than the man.

Men and women are represented differently The woman’s low cut top suggests that she could be the ‘male gaze’ within the film.
