Political focus on climate change since the election 2006 in Nacka

• Reduce green house emissions from travels and transports

• Enable environmentally friendly cars in the municipality

• Phase out conventional cars and introduce EFV

regard to ownership, policies, costs or placement

Ask yourself !!• Do you have to travel – are there alternatives?• Choose train, bus …• If you go by car – travel together• Choose EFV• Do not fly! Only long distances • Climate compensation• EFV taxi

• Strict rules (policy) for the procurement and use of cars• Phasing out conventional cars

– Now 71 % EFV, project expected to finish 2011• Carpool with 6 cars for the city hall (500 employees)

– Some of whom uses official cars instead• Ban on using private car (unless EFV) for work related

travels if you work at the city hall• Parking fee at the city hall to subsidize public transportation

season-tickets– EFV do not pay parking fee– For employees and politicians with workplace city hall

• Bike pool etc.
