Mobile Phone

Mobile phone is a wonderful

invention of information

technology. It is such a cordless

phone by which we can

communicate and talk to others

in the shortest possible time.

History of Mobile Phone

• The first handheld mobile cell phone was demonstrated by Motorola.

• The first commercial automated cellular network was launched in Japan in 1979.

• The second generation (2G) digital cellular technology was launched in Finland in 1991.

• In 2001 the third generation launched in Japan by NTT DOCOMO

How does it works:

• Phone converts voice into electrical signal

• This converts as radio waves and converted back into sound

• Quiet similar to a walkie-Talkie or CB Radio

• Send a signal over only a short range

• It requires one frequency for speaking and one for listening

Advantages of Mobile Phone:

• Easy communication

• Text massege

• Internet browsing

• Video calling

• Playing games

• Email transfer

Disadvantege of Mobile Phone:

• Injurious to our health

• Harmes our brain While talking

• Excessive use causes Fatal diseases

• Breaches of privacy and security

• Distraction

My Opinion:

Though it has some demerits, it is truly a blessing for our civilization.
