Born To Be Wide returns to the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Tuesday 18 August with a free evening of interviews and live music. The talk show is part of the Jura Unbound programme and is hosted by the event’s co-organiser, Olaf Furniss.

His guests include music journalist Wyndham Wallace, who will be reading from his book Lee, Myself and I, an account of working with producer and composer Lee Hazlewood, best known for penning Nancy Sinatra hit, These Boots Were Made For Walking.

He will be joined by broadcaster, TV executive and former NME writer, Stuart Cosgrove, whose book Detroit 67 – focuses on the year

when soul music came of age and underground counterculture flourished.

The night also includes live performances by Ded Rabbit and Dundee artist, Be Charlotte, who has been developing her own electronic instrument with Cambridge physicist Dr Kate Stone.

Last year’s Born To Be Wide night at Jura Unbound featured veteran music manager Simon Napier Bell [see video below], as well as sets by Withered Hand and The Jellyman’s Daughter.

“The Jura Unbound nights are a great opportunity for us to feature on those writing about music and we are looking forward to coming back,” says Furniss.

Roland Gulliver, associate director of the Edinburgh International Book Festival says: “I am delighted that Jura Unbound will be hosting another night with our good friends Born to be Wide. They do fantastic work offering insight into our music

scene, opening up opportunities to artists and audiences alike. Their Jura Unbound event promises to be another brilliant night of conversation and music."

Jura Unbound is held every night in the Spiegeltent in Charlotte Square Gardens at the 2015 Edinburgh International Book Festival from the 16 – 31 August from 9-11pm (10.15-11pm on 31 August). A mischievous mixture of words, music and comedy to soothe and stimulate the soul. For more information visit: www.edbookfest.co.uk

Born To Be Wide stages music business seminars, the award-winning Wide Days convention/showcase and the Off The Record youth events. The company also organises bespoke talks and workshops for other conferences, festivals and organisations. Born To Be Wide started life in 2004 as an informal social night to bring together those involved in the Scottish music scene, and soon began attracting interest throughout the UK.

Inaugural Lindisfarne Music Festival in stunning setting on east coast

Lindisfarne (nr Berwick Upon Tweed) : 4-6 September : www.lindisfarnefestival.com

A new music and creative arts marquee based festival for over 18s taking place on Beal Farm Northumberland (just a short hop over the border near Berwick Upon Tweed) this 4-6 September has revealed further acts to its already strong line-up of local and internationally renowned artists.

Headliners for the festival include Public Service Broadcasting, Craig Charles, Reverend & The Makers, Smoove and Turrell and The Skints and new acts announced include Hyde & Beast, King Bees and Mixmaster Morris. Northern poet, comedian, writer (and ex resident poet at Glastonbury), Kate Fox will also be showcasing her talents in the Jibba Jabba poetry tent.

Conleth Maenpaa, Owner of Nokomis and Bor Events and Founder of Lindisfarne Festival said: “We are delighted to add further acts to our already strong line-up, many of whom played at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, Nadine Shah, DJ Yoda, Shields, JFB, Baghdaddies, Ghetto Funk Allstars and Mr Tooley to name but a few. It is great to be able to offer such an enviable range of talent to the Lindisfarne Festival audience. We have a slice of Glastonbury right here in our back yard.”

Conleth Maenpaa added: “We are really excited about the festival and have been working hard to create something special that we hope will become part of the fabric of the eastern

Scotland-England border area for years to come. We are pleased to confirm a variety of great entertainment including a silent disco, alternative therapies, jibba jabba poetry tent, Tibetan monks, delicious local food, a real ale bar, art installations, street performers, yoga and meditation, camping, bonfires and much more. From sight, sound to taste, we want this to be a truly experiential festival that people won’t forget.”

Conleth said: “With only 2000 tickets on sale at this year’s Lindisfarne Festival, we urge people to buy their tickets soon. It is strange to think that the first ever Glastonbury started back in 1970 with just 1500 tickets and now draws a crowd close to 200,000. Will you be able to say you were at the first ever Lindisfarne Festival? We hope so! ”

Enveloped in beautiful Northumberland countryside what makes this festival truly magical is also the stunning location overlooking Holy Island. Set on Beal Farm in Northumberland, which won the coveted Beautiful Farm Awards 'Most Beautiful Farm' in the UK 2009-2010, the views certainly won’t disappoint nor will the opportunity to sleep under the stars.

Tickets which include camping are available to buy online at £78 for the weekend or £50 for the Saturday via www.lindisfarnefestival.com It is recommended to book quickly to avoid disappointment as tickets are limited this year.

Skipinnish are set to rock Innerleithen during this year's IMF music festival

Innerleithen : 21-23 August : www.innerleithenmusicfestival.org

Highland folk band SKIPINNISH are on a roll just now with their latest single 'The Island' charging up the charts, and even recently overtaking Taylor Swift in the UK iTunes download chart - plus George Ezra and Ed Sheeran!

And after the success of its’ two predecessors Skipinnish now have an incredible hat-trick of appearances in the official UK download charts within a year. Having just played the sold out Tiree Music Festival their next festival appearance is at INNERLEITHEN MUSIC FESTIVAL in the Scottish Borders on 22 August, and this is your only opportunity to watch the band in southern Scotland this summer with their other appearances scheduled for Best of the West in Inveraray, Ullapool's Loopallu and Jura Fest.

Innerleithen is just 30 miles south from Edinburgh tucked into the lovely Border hills between Peebles and Galashiels, and nestling by the famous River Tweed. For the past 13 years this small town has held what is now a renowned traditional music festival and for 2015 they have another fantastic line up for you. From August 21-23 IMF combines a superb series of evening concerts - with some of the best-known names on the Scottish music circuit, supported by many breaking acts - plus music all weekend showcasing local talent.

So what better setting than this Borders town to catch what will be a memorable concert from that bundle of raw energy that goes by the name Skipinnish. Their single 'The Island' was only released in early July but apart from its chart success the accompanying video has had over 30 000 views to its name so far on YouTube - you can watch it here:

http://youtu.be/gV9wXTczZB4

Skipinnish field a 6 piece line-up based on powerful vocals and foot-stomping bagpipe tunes. Their new-found chart topping success would have been hard to believe over 15 years ago when the band was formed by accordionist Angus MacPhail from Tiree and piper Andrew Stevenson from Lochaber over some tunes in the then Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow - now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

'The Island' is a sure summer festival hit, written by Macphail and lead vocalist Robert Robertson, it is both powerfully nostalgic and irresistibly feel-good. “Will you dance and return to the island of the young” is a profoundly emotional take on the Gaelic idea of going to Tìr nan Òg (the land of the young), while it also reflects the vibrant atmosphere of the western highlands and islands during summer festival season.

In some ways the song is fresh and uniquely modern; yet in others it is deeply traditional and metaphorical. This paradox between old and new is

reflected in the track’s sound, which blends the band’s West Highland roots (it is led by a lively riff played on accordion, whistle, and fiddle) with a subtle presence of electronica – driven by bass and synth. The electrifying energy which has made Skipinnish so popular at festivals is bursting from this studio recording.

Skipinnish’s increased popularity in the past year has been due in no small measure to their pioneering approach to social media, this will be their third single to be released with an accompanying music video online. The video, directed by Dol Eoin Mackinnon from the island of Scalpay, Harris, intersperses stunning shots from the coastline of Argyll with footage of a bouncing Skipinnish gig. While the song will make listeners want to get up and dance, the video’s storyline of love and loss resolved by impassioned, eternal reunion in the island of the young will pull upon the strings of even the

hardest heart.

As Macphail and Robertson continue to build upon a formidable songwriting partnership, this driving summer single looks set to take Skipinnish to the next level.

Back in Innerleithen tickets are now on sale at http://innerleithenmusicfestival.org/tickets/ and another IMF highlight on 21 August is an appearance by Eddi Reader and her band. Plus there will be other concerts, workshops, busking, a singaround and a chance to let your hair down at the Rock & Roll Classics & Ballad session - plus of course the famous late night festival club! And supporting local youth music there's an ongoing showcase of talent all weekend under the 'Live & Local' tag.

To make the most of the festival a weekend stay in Innerleithen is highly recommended, with a host of interesting places nearby available to compliment the music - and there's accommodation information from campsites to hotels on the IMF website to help plan your musical mini-break in the Scottish Borders. Keep an eye on the website and social media for the latest announcements, or sign up to the IMF mailing list from the homepage at www.innerleithenmusicfestival.org

Idlewild named among headliners for Paisley’s Spree 2015 festival

Paisley : 9-17 October : www.thespree.co.uk

The headline acts have been revealed for Paisley’s annual Spree festival – including a one-off collaboration between Scottish indie-rockers Idlewild and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

The nine-day event – run by Renfrewshire Council – will see a varied bill of music, comedy and more in various venues around Paisley between 9 and 17 October.

And the musical centrepiece sees Idlewild – one of the Spree’s biggest acts yet – joined by the RSNO for a unique performance in the stunning setting of Paisley Abbey on Friday 16 October.

Much of the action will again take place in a specially-erected Spiegeltent in County Square, with highlights including the reformed Khartoum Heroes (Saturday 17 Oct) – who count King Creosote and broadcaster Vic Galloway among their ranks.

Also announced is a Scottish Album of the Year Showcase (Spiegeltent, Thursday 15 Oct) headlined by award winner Kathryn Joseph, backed up by fellow nominees Happy Meals and PAWS.

There will be a special edition of the Tae Sup Wi’ a Fifer club night featuring James Yorkston and Karine Polwart in the Spiegeltent on Friday 9 Oct, while previous SAY award winners Aidan Moffat and Bill Wells play Paisley Arts Centre on Sunday 11 October.

The Spiegeltent will also host acts including Scottish singers Barbara Dickson (Sunday 11 Oct), James Grant (Wed 14 Oct) and Horse McDonald (Fri 16 Oct).

Tickets are now on sale for all of the above through www.thespree.co.uk .

The Spree will also once again see editions of The Danny Kyle Open Stage made famous by Celtic Connections each evening in The Spiegeltent at 5pm, offering the best unsigned talent a platform.

And taking place alongside The Spree will be the

return of the popular ModStuff event, run by LNP Promotions and celebrating all things Mod-related (various venues, Fri and Sat 9/10 Oct).

One music show has already been announced – Capercaillie frontwoman Karen Matheson will be joined by Irish singer-songwriter Cara Dillon in Paisley Abbey on Thursday 15 October.

There will also be a programme of comedy shows – some of the acts are still to be announced but they will include Scottish funnyman Des McLean (Paisley Arts Centre, Sat 10 Oct).

And The Spree bill also contains a number of film and theatre events, plus a programme of still-to-be-announced children’s shows, timed to coincide with the October school holidays.

As well as teaming up with Idlewild, the RSNO will also be in Paisley Town Hall on Tuesday 13 October for the RSNO Paisley Takeover concert – the culmination of a 12-week programme allowing 60 local young people the chance to work with the orchestra to plan and perform a classical gig.

The Spree is run by Renfrewshire Council, and council leader Mark Macmillan said: “The Spree is now in its fourth year and has fast established itself as a key date on Scotland’s festival calendar.

“Hosting events like this is really helping put Paisley on the map as a cultural destination and we will be looking to grow the Spree even more in the years ahead as we move towards the town’s bid for UK City of Culture 2021.

“In particular, the collaborations between contemporary rock bands and the RSNO in the unique venue that is Paisley Abbey have now become the signature shows of the festival and have received a great reception in previous years – we are looking forward to another great performance this year.”

Acts who have teamed up with the RSNO in the Abbey in previous years include Roddy Hart and the Lonesome Fire, King Creosote, Admiral Fallow and The Twilight Sad.

MUSIC FESTIVALS - MUSIC FESTIVALS - MUSIC FESTIVALS - MUSIC FESTIVALS

Now in its fourth year the Stowed Out Festival has a deserved reputation for bringing to Stow exciting acts that you won't see at other events in the Borders. This year is no exception as Stowed Out showcases an astonishing line up of traditional and contemporary music, including the revered folk statesman Dick Gaughan and rising indie-pop stars Model Aeroplanes. The festival kicks off on the Friday with an evening of traditional music with the internationally respected Stow Pipe band providing a suitably rousing opening. The first of our headliners is Dick Gaughan, one of the finest interpreters of songs of the 20th century and hailed by the late John Peel as ''one of the five or six great voices of our time". The second, Scotland’s Old Blind Dogs, will invite the audience to party as they celebrating their 18th year as a band and continue to distinguish themselves as vital, innovative ambassadors of traditional music. On Saturday afternoon the festival field opens with music and entertainment for all ages and tastes. We are very excited to have nine bands performing in the main marquee from the afternoon into the late evening. Stowed Out prides itself on presenting talented and entertaining acts and this year is no exception with a line-up containing an eclectic mix of musical styles and featuring exiting newcomers, local talent and rising stars. Stowed Out

opens with the lively pop-rock of Emma McNeill and her band, followed by passionate local trad fiddle duo Maggie Wilson and Rebecca Rodgers. Prepare to be moved and beguiled by the hugely respected soul/folk vibes of Lorna Brooks and Allan Bertram, and then to stamp your feet to playful upbeat six strong ukulele band Small Town splitters, who will be offering a ukulele workshop for festival goers early on in the day. With the early evening a change of pace is heralded by the driving psychedelic blues rock and roll of Rhythm Beats Working and the thrilling avant-garde virtuosity of The Stark Palace. They pave the way for the soulful, funky, danceable energy of Stray Days. Closing the evening are two incendiary Edinburgh acts, both receiving rave reviews and radio play, the post punk psychedelic art-rockers Snide Rhythms and the purveyors of fresh infectious indie-pop The Model Airplanes. Throughout the day across the festival field there will be a variety of children's entertainment including a return of the popular circus skills by Spinning Jenny. Talented local crafters will be purveying their wares in the craft tent. Hungry and thirsty festival goers will be catered for with food from Stow's own Cloudhouse cafe team, and a festival bar tent. For those drawn more to the visual arts there will be a free exhibition in the Cloud House Cafe of exiting and upcoming Scottish Borders artists running from 26 August to the 25 September. If all of this wasn't enough our a very exciting innovation for 2015 is

the The Roar Spoken Word stage which will feature local performance artists Sara Clark, Dorothy Alexander, Anita John, Jules Horne, Thomas Clark and special guests. Bridget Khursheed says "It is very exciting to be curating the spoken word event at Stowed out - spoken word has been making media headlines but it is an art that has always been alive and well here in the Borders - local talent and some headline names from around the UK will be strutting their stuff on the Roxxap Roar stage in high energy, performance shots on subjects as diverse as punk love, consumer habits and knitting with dog hair; I am keeping a couple of spaces for anyone who can dazzle me with their set on YouTube - please get in touch via [email protected]. Sara Clark will be on hand to show festival goers how to write your own spoken word. And a cash slam prize is also available for the best set on

the day." The festival has been made possible by fundraising events put on throughout the year by the community group SoundOut who also curate the festival, generous grants from the Stow and Fountainhall Community council, the Foundation Scotland EDF windfarm fund amongst others. This year we are very pleased to welcome our main sponsor, the award winning Stow renewable energy business Ecofitter. Chris Wemyss from Stowed Out said "the enormous success this festival has had in the last three years demonstrates what a community can achieve when they all pull together to bring you a programme to rival that of many larger more established events".

With under a month to go until the second ever Electric Fields organisers are delighted to announce the addition of three more of the most exciting acts coming out of Scotland today.

The Xcerts have become well known for blowing the roof off every festival they play and we’re delighted to be welcoming them to Electric Fields to do just that, fresh from stand out performances at 2000 Trees and T In the Park earlier in the Summer! The Aberdeen band have had one of their most exciting years with tune “Shaking in the Water” breaking the two million barrier on Spotify.

KLOË is an 18 year old pop artist from Glasgow. With an EP set for release in Autumn 2015, KLOË has already shot up the Hype Machine, sold out her debut show, played at Radio One’s Big Weekend and opened eyes worldwide with her debut track ‘Grip’ and follow-up ‘Feel’. With support coming from BBC Radio One’s Zane

Lowe, Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart, and blog support from Neon Gold, Pigeons and Planes and DIY, we are at the start of a very exciting year for KLOË.

The Little Kicks are a 4 piece band based in Aberdeen with a reputation for a great live show of heartfelt catchy upbeat indie rock songs that

you can dance to. The band’s latest album entitled “Put Your Love In Front Of Me” was very well received critically and several tracks have enjoyed national radio support from Nemone, Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson again leading to airplay on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, Radio Scotland and XFM

Electric Fields will also be hosting a special warm-up gig with Pronto Mama, MØGEN and guests on the 8 August at unique arts space, The Stove, in Dumfries. Tickets are very limited for this intimate show and are priced at £6, available from - http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/event/electric-fields-presents-tickets/188271

Alex Roberts, Festival Director - “With one month to go until Electric Fields were chuffed to bits to be adding even more names to the already stellar line-up, especially considering it’s three of the most talked about acts on the scene. We haven’t finished there either… We have a few more surprises up our sleeve that we’ll be revealing nearer the time.” www.electricfieldsfestival.com https://twitter.com/Electric_Fields www.facebook.com/electricfieldsfestival

Dean Owens is one of Scotland’s most acclaimed and established singer songwriters, with fans including Ricky Ross, Bob Harris, Irvine Welsh and Russell Brand. His songs Raining in Glasgow and Man From Leith have been hailed as classics of Scottish songwriting.

In his early career Dean was the front-man of the much loved, and lauded, Scottish country rock band The Felsons, whose extensive touring included Europe, Australia and a US tour with the Mavericks. For Edinburgh Fringe 2015, Dean is taking a brief break from promoting his new solo album to reunite with some of his Felsons bandmates for a special one-off show. Join them for a ramble through some of their favourite songs, inspired, written or covered by Johnny Cash, including a few of Dean’s own songs from his critically acclaimed solo albums.

Cash Back (Songs I Learned from Johnny) is

based on Dean’s acclaimed 2012 album of the same name. While it’s very much inspired by Johnny Cash, this isn’t a “tribute show” – the radar is set wider. Some of the songs were written by Cash, some were covered by him and some were inspired by listening to him. Cash has always lingered in the shadows of Dean Owens's life as an artist. After all, the Man in Black left a lasting legacy of songs which any musician could be tempted by. But it was after Johnny released his first covers packed American Recording Sessions, with Rick Rubin, that he truly became a touchstone for Dean. Cash Back (Songs I Learned from Johnny) takes a little swim in those rich oceans of song. Expect songs by Dylan, Jagger/Richards, Nick Lowe, some traditional songs, some Dean Owens originals... and some by Cash. All filtered through Dean’s searingly soulful voice, with a twist of “celtabilly” rock.

GIGnotes: Cash Back (Songs I Learned from Johnny) will be performed – for 1 night only - in the gorgeous setting of the converted church space at new Fringe venue Just Festival at Central Hall, on Saturday 15 August at 8.30pm. £12, ticket link above or Fringe Box Office 0131 226 0000

Doune The Rabbit Hole, one of Scotland’s most intimate music and arts festivals, has revealed its final line-up for this year’s festival, taking place at the Cardross Estate, Stirlingshire from August 21st-23rd. Final acts include Earl Gateshead, a legendary Trojan Soundsystem selector with Dub and Reggae vibes and Ceephax Acid Crew, a Techno and Drum and Bass electronic sound from British artist, Andy Jenkinson. These new acts will perform on a brand new Dance/Dub and Reggae stage introduced to the festival for the first time this year. The unique stage, called the Tweedle Dum/Tweedle Dee stage, will showcase both Dance and Dub/Reggae music, interchanging between the two music genres throughout the festival. Other acts completing the line-up include Edinburgh-based Reggae DJs, Riddim Tuffa Sounds, Samson Sounds, an African hi-life and Blues group from Glasgow, a Funk, Boogie, Modern Soul and House fusion from Benedek and Ron Van De Kerkhof which offers a refreshingly different, deep sound. All of these acts will perform on the newly introduced stage. These new additions will join an array of both Scottish and international talent including San Francisco indie band Deerhoof and Shooglenifty, an Edinburgh Celtic fusion band, to perform at

the three day event. Other acts gearing up to perform at Doune include The Ex, an experimental Punk band from the Netherlands, alternative Scottish Hip Hop group called Stanley Odd from Edinburgh, inventive Glasgow group, The Phantom Band and Fatherson, an Indie band from Kilmarnock known for their melodic anthems who created a stir in 2014 as over 8000 revellers watched them at T In The Park. Doune The Rabbit Hole's Jamie Murray said: “We are very excited to be introducing the brand new Tweedle Dum/Tweedle Dee stage to Doune the Rabbit Hole this year and to host such fantastic and eclectic acts on this stage. This new addition really highlights our commitment to offering a musical style to suit all tastes. The Tweedle Dum/Tweedle Dee stage will play music that reflects the vibe of the festival throughout the weekend, which means

that people will never know what to expect next and it will always feel fresh. It’s set to be pretty special! “2015 is set to be a fantastic year of musical talent for Doune The Rabbit Hole and we are incredibly excited to welcome such a range of international acts and those who have formed right here in Scotland. There are so many unique acts performing that there is a musical genre and style for everyone’s tastes, so there’s lots to soak up and enjoy at this year’s event.“ Established in 2010, the family-friendly festival will be lighting up the Cardross Estate near the Lake of Menteith, and, as well as welcoming the cream of Scotland’s talented music scene and an array of international artists, the festival will host a vibrant mix of workshops for both adults and children, arts, craft producers and quality Scottish food and drink suppliers. The event also recently secured funding from Creative Scotland which will go towards making the event even bigger and better than previous years attracting great acts and growing the event year-on-year. With an event capacity of only 1000, Doune The Rabbit Hole organisers pride themselves on being one of the country’s smallest festivals, giving the event a uniquely intimate and friendly atmosphere. Families are warmly welcomed at the festival with tickets for children aged 12 and under available for free, so all ages can experience the range of activities over the course of the weekend. www.dounetherabbithole.co.uk https://twitter.com/dounetherabbit www.facebook.com/DouneTheRabbitHole

MUSIC FESTIVALS - MUSIC FESTIVALS - MUSIC FESTIVALS - MUSIC FESTIVALS

The musical career of one of Scotland’s foremost entertainers will be marked on the opening night of Blas 2015, Friday 4 September, when the festival celebrates the 70th birthday of Anne Lorne Gillies. Anne’s unique singing style combines classical music training with a deep understanding of Gaelic culture and tradition.

Having benefitted from an education at Oban High School with Iain Crichton Smith and the great Gaelic collector, John MacLean, Anne Lorne went on to win the Mòd Gold Medal as a teenager and has gone on from there to sing at venues world-wide and on television singing alongside many of Scotland and Ireland’s greatest folk and Gaelic performers. She has also enjoyed a distinguished career as an academic and author and was the Scottish Government’s Gaelic Ambassador of the Year in 2009-10.

Inverness has a very special place in Anne’s performing history, having paid many visits during her career to Eden Court Theatre with highlights, she recalls, being the John MacFadyen Memorial Concerts, numerous international festivals and performances, Royal National Mòds and even pantomime specials, with one appearance as Mother Goose to her credit!

Anne’s big birthday bash - Moladh Anna (Celebrating Anne) - will be an opportunity for the Blas Festival to celebrate her many musical achievements with the event at Inverness Cathedral being her first appearance at the festival.

Arthur Cormack of Fèisean nan Gàidheal, who will be making a rare Blas singing appearance at the event, said: “We are delighted to be able to celebrate the career of one of our foremost Gaelic singers at this year’s Blas Festival. Anne is a singer who transcends many musical styles but who has done so much for Gaelic language and education through, for example, her support of the Gaelic Playgroups Movement in the 1980s, her academic work on Gaelic medium education and the pioneering ‘Songs of Gaelic Scotland’ collection which is a must-have publication for anyone interested in Gaelic song. We seem to honour people most often after they have left us but I am delighted Blas will celebrate the voice and career of someone still very much with us.”

Anne said: “It would have been impossible to assemble a cast of absolutely everyone I have worked with over the years but the line-up we have brought together is notable for all sorts of reasons and includes Arthur Cormack, Kathleen MacInnes, as well as one of my own relations Angus Macleod from Inverness. I am more than delighted that my daughters Marsali and Raghnaid will be coming from Sarajevo and England to appear alongside me and my accompanying musicians - Allan Kitchen on piano, Duncan Findlay on guitar, Archie MacAllister on the fiddle and John Sampson - are very special friends and talents. We will also have a piper (or two) and my dearest friend Rhona Mackay on the clàrsach.”

In what promises to be a very special evening, Anne will celebrate her glittering musical career with an extensive selection from her magnificent repertoire of Gaelic Songs and also her array of anecdotes about special occasions and people she has performed with over the years.

Moladh Anna (Celebrating Anne) will be in Inverness Cathedral on Friday, September 4, the

opening night of Blas 2015, beginning at 7.30pm.

Blas 2015 will take place at venues across the Highlands and Argyll between 4 and 12 September. See links below for full details.
