Maratha Vidya Prasarsk Samaj, Nashik is one of the most prestigious centers of learning in the state of

Maharashtra. Over 98 years it has stood the test of time to become legend of unparallel stature. History says that

the credit for the birth of MVP Samaj goes to the young enthusiastic and devoted team of Social workers and

educationists who were inspired by the lives of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Rajarshi Shahu of Kolhapur. These

young leading lights include Karmaveer Raosaheb Thorat, Bhausaheb Hirey, Kakasaheb Wagh Ganpatrao More,

The Institute of Management Research and Technology has been established with the idea

of equipping India with the power house managers, under the aegis of its parent body, the MVP

Samaj in 1986. The institute has been formed to impart management education in the faculties of

business and Information Technology. The institute is affiliated to Pune University and

recognized by Government of Maharashtra; AICTE, New Delhi and DTE, Mumbai to run post

graduate degree courses. The AICTE approved this institute to run MBA/MPM/MCM courses

with its approval letter No. F-27-36/B-11/BOS/M/94/23346 dated March 31, 1994.

The Institute is one of the leading business schools in Nashik, and is poised to become a
