About the awardsMixology North17 Awards will take place on Thursday 7th December 2017 at Manchester Central, Manchester.

The Mixology Awards are unique. Judged by an

independent panel of experienced architects,

designers, consultants and clients/end users, the

Awards concentrate entirely on the commercial

interiors market. Awards will be judged on merit

regardless of company size and the awards are FREE

to enter. This blend of relevance, independence and

focus is why the Mixology Awards are deemed the

best in the industry.

How to enterIt’s easy – 3 simple steps:1. Choose the category you want to enter from the

list on page 3 (you can enter as many categories

as you wish but each entry must have a

dedicated completed entry form)

2. Complete the electronic entry form linked to

your category, not forgetting to submit your

images, video and presentation materials and

email it to Rebecca@mixinteriors.com

3. Print and post one hard copy of your completed

entry form and presentation materials to our

Requirements for each entry:• No larger than A3 in format• Suitably illustrated, with an explanation of why

the entry should be considered (consider the criteria outlined)

• All supporting material should be concise, clear and professionally presented. Please note certain categories require samples of materials to be sent to accompany your entry

• If entering more than one category please ensure your 50 word summary for each entry is tailored to the specific entry form

JudgingOur judging panel comprises key players in the office

interiors and design community. These are relevant,

independent professionals including architects,

consultants and clients/end users- all of whom are

heavily involved in the sector.

Closing date for entries

Both hard copy and electronic copy should be

submitted by the closing date of 5pm Friday 6th October 2017.

Closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 6th October 2017. Entries received after this date

will not be accepted. Only completed entries will

be considered and a separate entry form must be

completed for each submission. Entries must either

represent a project based in the North or a business

based in the North (North is classed as Midlands up

to and including Scotland and Northern Ireland).

A few tips• Read the criteria of the category you are

entering, this is what the judges will score your

entry against

• Match the criteria to your entry!

• Ensure your entry is clear and concise – Our

judges are looking at a considerable number of

entries so your entry needs to stand out

• Check your entry before sending; ensure all

relevant information is included

• Ensure you complete the entry form and send

both a hard copy and an electronic copy for

each category you are entering

• Don’t forget to show off!• Both high quality photography and video will

aid your submission.

Mixology North17 Entry Form

This award is for the best new loose furniture design of

the year, for example; meeting pods and soft seating.

The product must be new and ‘in manufacture’ and will

be judged by an independent panel against a number of

benchmarks. These include:

• Commercial viability

• Innovation & Technology

• Ergonomics

• Functionality

• Aesthetics

• Business success

• Sustainability

• Positive environmental impact

Products entered for consideration must be new, ‘in

manufacture’ or launched between October 2016 and

October 2017.

By entering Mixolog North17 you agree to these rules and conditions:1. Closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 6th October 20172. All entries must conform to the format described in the ‘How to

enter’ section of this pack. 3. Judges’ decision is final and no communication will be entered

into regarding their decision. 4. Winners will be notified at the Mixology North17 Awards on 7th

December 2017. 5. A list of winners will be posted on the www.mixology-awards.

com website and featured in Mix Interiors magazine after the event.

6. Mix Media Limited accepts no responsibility for damaged or lost entries. We regret that we are unable to return entries/products.

7. Entrants agree to their names and photographs being used for publicity purposes and those who have nominated an entrant must have received their permission.

8. Awards are not open to employees and families of Mix Media Limited or their distributors.

9. Mix Media Limited reserves the right to reject any entry for any reason.

10. All products, projects, companies and people can be entered into more than one category but must complete an entry form for each category.
