Energy
Frozen energy intensities at their 1994value
Fuel oil thermoelectric plants as thedominant addition in installed capacitywithin the power sector
Combined cycle plants based on naturalgas as the dominant addition in installedcapacity within the power sector
Different penetration scenarios for thefollowing mitigation alternatives:Industrial motors, commercial efficientlighting, efficient water pumping, publictransportation in the MCMA, residentialefficient lighting, industrial efficientboilers, metro increase coverage in theMCMA, wind power generation, industrial cogeneration
Forestry Net deforestation rate-deforestation minus afforestation- at1.5%/yr (early 1990s) levels from 1995to 2010
Total deforested area reaches 10.4million ha between 1995 and 2010
361 Kha ha/yr of deforestation avoidedby sustainable management of nativeforests in 2010
1.3 million ha under restorationplantations by 2010
