HOME SHIRAZMeals on BoardAssemble at the airport and depart for Shiraz,

one of the oldest cities of ancient Persia.

DAY 2

SHIRAZ Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerUpon your arrival, begin your tour with the

highlights of Shiraz, the former capital of

Iran during the Zand Dynasty. Be inspired

by the glorious Karim Khan Fortress and

walk through Zandieh complex, which

includes the Vakil Mosque, traditional Bazaar and Bath. See the beautiful Nasir al-Mulk Mosque with its unique stained-

glass windows. End your day with a visit to

the Qavam House, which is also known as

Narenjestan-e Qavam, a unique and ancient

building in the old district of city.

DAY 3

SHIRAZ PERSEPOLIS SHIRAZBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerAfter breakfast, take an hour’s drive to

explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of

Persepolis, the former centre of the Persian

Empire. On the way back to Shiraz, drop by

the rock cut tombs at Naqsh-e-Rostam,

the burial place of Darius the Great and

his successors. Pass by Quran Gate and

Hafezieh and Saadieh, the tomb of famous

poets Hafez and Saadi. Continue your

journey to the lovely Eram Gardens, also

known as the ‘Garden of Paradise’ (Bagh-e

Eram), one of the most beautiful and

monumental gardens of Iran.

DAY 4

SHIRAZ PASARGADAE YAZDBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerToday, make your way to Pasargadae, the

ancient capital and burial site of Cyrus the

Great, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visit the Tomb of Cyrus the Great and

remains of Achaemenian palaces and

edifices. After lunch, you will be driven to

Abarkooh to see the Adobe Ice House,

an ancient building used to store ice and

food throughout the year. Continue your

journey to the city of Yazd for dinner and

an overnight stay.

DAY 5

YAZD ISFAHANBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerBegin your adventure through the ‘City of

Windcatchers’ on an orientation tour. See the

Jameh Mosque of Yazd, a stunning example

of an Azari mosque, which boasts the tallest

minarets in the country, check out the

symmetrical alcoves of the Amir Chakhmaq Complex, then head on to the Water Museum

to see how the quants (underground water

channels) brought water to the city from

the mountains for thousands of years. You

will also visit the Fire Temple and Towers of Silence, both vestiges of the city’s Zoroastrian

heritage. Thereafter, travel to Isfahan for an

overnight stay.

DAY 6ISFAHANBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerIsfahan is one of the most impressive cities in

Iran. We start tour in Imam Square (formerly

Naqsh-e Jahan Square), one of the most

famous UNESCO sites, which covers an

area of 82,500 square metres, making it the

second largest square in the world. While

here, visit Ali Qapu Palace on the west side,

and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque on the east

side of this square. Then make your way to

the UNESCO site Chehel Sotoun Palace and

Garden, another noteworthy attraction in

Iran. After dinner, see the famous bridges of

Si-o-se-pol and Khaju by the Zayanderud

River.

DAY 7

ISFAHANBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerStart your day by exploring the city of

Isfahan. Take a look at the historical Vank Cathedral, also known as the Church of the

Holy Saviour, in the Jolfa Armenian quarter

of Isfahan. Be captivated by the gorgeous

fusion of Armenian and Islamic architecture.

Afterwards, see the Jame Mosque of Isfahan,

an architectural treasure encapsulating

styles over 12 centuries. In the afternoon,

take a stroll in the Persian Bazaar and be

introduced to the Iranian handicrafts and

workshops.

DAY 8ISFAHAN KASHAN TEHRANBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerToday, depart for the city of Kashan. Stroll

through this beautiful traditional city and visit

Tabātabāei House, Borujerdi House and

Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse. Thereafter,

stop by the Fin Garden, the oldest surviving

Persian garden in Iran. After lunch, make your

way to the capital city of Tehran.

DAY 9TEHRAN HOMEBreakfast, LunchYour journey starts with a visit to the Azadi Square, from there make a quick stop and

see the facade of the Azadi Tower. Then

transfer to the Golestan Palace before

travelling to the Sa’dabad Complex in the

northern part of Tehran. Thereafter, spend

the shopping at the Tajrish Bazaar before

transferring to the airport for your departure

flight back home.
