As I found even 1 passenger can not do the all blog posts, photo, video, and social media a trip like this needs.

This will be done on a stock 2014 SR 11.4 with the power tank option, and accessory fast chargers that will be available either through Zero Motorcycles or aftermarket through Hollywood Electrics. Point being, this is a motorcycle anyone can buy to duplicate the 20,000 mile journey.

With proper planning, there will be no waiting to charge. All charging will be done overnight or top offs while eating at restaurants with charge stations, or at events we are attending.

The demands we put on this motorcycle every day exceed the most extreme demands they would ever need out of a motorcycle.

As media exposure of trip and connections and supporters grow, work to meet and speak with legislators about incentives for electric motorcycles made in the USA to solve some issues we are facing.

2) Traffic congestion from single person drivers driving 18 foot long 6,000 pound SUV's

Goal to do 1000 miles a week taking it all over California, promoting it as part of the 2014 tour.

Should have a few thousand miles on it in a couple weeks and can hopefully expose any issue and allow a last minute fix before the EU bikes ship. Communicate daily with engineering.

By the end of April, should have over 10,000 miles on the bike. So right after peak sales time, this should give sales another spike by eliminating concerns about reliability to potential buyers who were on the fence and needed a little confidence booster like this to justify their purchasing decision.

For electric vehicle rallys and competitions, the trailer can be used to hold additional batteries and chargers to have range and charge times competitive with the Tesla Model S.

Try to get scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show riding the bike on to set with passengers for National Plug In Day 2014 near the completion of the trip in late September to talk about the trip, the challenges, and how electric motorcycles are now the motorcycle of choice.

Earlier in the day, have Jay take the 2014 SR for a spin around Burbank without any extra weight on it to first hand feel the power that it has compared to previous Zero's he might be familiar with. Try to get Jay to say on camera that he wants one.

Once getting on The Tonight Show, it will open the doors to things such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, Or perhaps the National evening news from ABC, CBS or NBC as they are always looking for an interesting, feel good story at the end of their broadcasts.
