What happens here

Wildflower seeds are collected from onsite stock

beds, meadow and selected local rural sites, then

propagated each season by the wildflower team.

Wildflower plants are grown by our specialists with

their trainee teams and sold through wholesale &

retail.

Waterside Phragmites production is an important

activity for our trainees and grown to support the

stock offer for conservation planting.

Tree Nursery

• Mires Beck is situated on a 14 acre conservation site, on which over 4000 trees have been planted as part of the conservation programme which continues to develop as we plan for the future. We are working in conjunction with certified bodies to improve our commercially grown supply and have a large stock of British varieties available. We can supply large volumes with enough lead time notice and can undertake site visits to agree requirements. We have at any one time approximately 60,000 trees grown in root trainers ready for planting.
