The 2020 Mirage is the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid compact car in America6. The Mirage’s 1.2-liter MIVEC engine helps deliver a budget-savvy and fuel-efficient combined MPG rating of 391.

The 2020 Mirage G4 allows you to get more out of every mile. The Mirage G4’s 1.2-liter MIVEC engine delivers a combined MPG rating of 371 when equipped with its available Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

FUEL ECONOMY

The Mirage and Mirage G4 feature Mitsubishi Innovative Valve-timing Electronic Control (MIVEC) engines. The MIVEC 1.2-liter delivers a balanced 78 horsepower and 74 lb.-ft of torque. Matched to our available CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or an easy-shifting 5-speed manual transmission, the Mirage G4 and Mirage provide smooth power with outstanding fuel efficiency.

SAFETY

Mitsubishi’s Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction is engineered for maximum protection in the event of a collision. Our RISE body construction utilizes crumple zones that help route and absorb energy during high-impact collisions, a super-rigid rear occupant cell, reinforced side-impact doors and energy-absorbing materials in the side pillars. The Mirage and Mirage G4 are small but tough.

RISE BODY CONSTRUCTION

The moment you shift into reverse, the standard rearview camera system provides a wide-angle view behind the vehicle on the audio display screen, helping you safely back out of a driveway and making it easier to fit into tight parking spots.

REARVIEW CAMERA

The Mirage and Mirage G4 offer seven standard airbags in total. Six are located in the front, including front-seat-mounted airbags and side-curtain airbags. The seventh is located underneath the driver’s side dashboard and is designed to stabilize your lower body during certain frontal collisions, providing an extra level of protection when you need it.4

7 AIRBAG SAFETY SYSTEM

Active Stability Control (ASC) with Traction Control Logic (TCL) helps you maintain control in adverse driving conditions and during emergency maneuvers. Utilizing a series of sensors that monitor the grip of each tire, the ASC communicates with the Anti-lock Braking System if a wheel begins to slip and can apply brakes to specific wheels to help your car track in the intended direction.
