3 Function Introduction

3.1 Call Reception And Release lock

MIO can send or receive calls from:

Outdoor panels

Guard Units

Other house from the same installation

The monitor can conversation, picture capture and release lock when the monitor communicate

with panel.

NOTE: The monitors with same room number can’t call each other.

3.2 Audio settings.

The audio volume can be adjusted with the setting bar. This volume

adjustment bar is only available when the audio is active.

You can press the up or down volume icon, the volume will be saved automatically.

MUTE:Temporarily turn off the microphone, to prevent an indoor conversation from being

overheard .

3.3 Guard Unit Call

The user can call to any available Guard Unit by selecting in the guard list. only 9901, 9902,

9903, 9904, 9905 can appear in the guard list.

You can record audio to guard unit if the guard unit no answer.

NOTE: Only for the record function enable in the guard unit.

3.4 Camera On-Panel

The user can select any available outdoor panel from panel list, the monitor

will show video and receive audio from panel (no audio in the panel from monitor) after camera

on, the monitor will show vidoe and double direction audio after answer.

NOTE: Camera on only for block panel and 1L panel, Not for General entrance panel. Only No.

of panel from 1 to 9 can appear, these panels will not appear if the number of panel more then

3.5 Camera On-IP Camera

Touch the IP Camera icon.

The name of IP camera show in IP camera list, Maixmum 8 IP cameras in the IP camera list.

Select the desired camera to display the image. The video of IP camera will close if the panel

or guard unit call it, you must operate IP camera if you want to surveillance on again. The vidoe

of IP camera will not close if the door bell is active.

NOTE: The camera still appear in IP camera list even if the IP camera disconnect with network.

3.6 House To House Call

The user can call to other tenants by dialing the tenant's number.

In a call interface input to the 7 digits room number (3 Block number + 4 Unit number), click the

call icon. For example, call 001 Block 0101 household, after input 0010101, press call icon. The

call number must be 7 digits.

3.7 Call History

For log with camera label, the user can review call history's detail by double clicking the record.

The image will appear.

The user can delete call log.

3.8 Alarms

Alarms (Only when installed)

Home mode: all alarms are off except 24/7.

Sleep mode: 24/7 and sensor set to be worked under sleep mode are on.

Out mode: all alarms are on.

The user can change the mode of the alarm by simply clicking on the mode icons available on

this page.

Out mode is the highest security mode followed by Sleep mode and Home mode respectively.

To change for a higher level to a lower one user need to input a password, but no vise versa.

NOTE:

Default factory user pincode is 1234, distress pincode is 4321.

In case the user is forced to deactivate the alarms against, he can enter the distress pincode

which deactivates the alarm but sends a distress alert to the Guard Unit at the same time.

3.9 Lift Control

Lift Control (Only when installed)

The user can order the lift through touch UP or DOWN icon when the user plan to leave

home, the elevator will arrive the floor of user.

The monitor can show state of elevators if the MEET system capture data from elevator.

The user can authorize lift throug touch RELEASE icon. if his friend same block want to visit

him, his friend will call him through House to House call, he can touch RELEASE icon after the

conversation end, the button will be authorized.

NOTE: Please see manual of MEET LIFT CONTROL GATEWAY if you want to know more

information about lift control.

3.10 Messages

The notification LED will light up and notification sound be sent when a new message is

received. The LED will off after the user read all new messages, the user can delete messages

in message list.

3.11 SOS

Touch the SOS button and keep 3 seconds. the monitor displays a message indicating that the

SOS SENT, the Guard Unit and management software can receive SOS alarm.

To enable SOS function,

“INSTALLER SETTINGS” – “ALARM SETTINGS” One zone and only one act as SOS

In EQUIPMENT item.

3.12 Home Automation (Only in extra version)

The user can set four different preset scenarios by clicking on the respective icon.

3.13 Do Not Disturb

Do not disturb function will make any call received silent, only the screen will lit when a call is

received. It can be activated for given periods of time, after which monitor will go back to normal

mode. The notification LED is on that Do not disturb is enabled.

3.14 Ringtone Settings

The user can select an independent ringtone for the call from different call origination and each

kind of call and its volume by the ringtone settings menu.

NOTE: 5 ringtones are available for choice. OTHER for 1L panel and general entrance panel.

3.15 Screen Settings

The user can select the background screen color and touch screen sound by the screen

settings menu.

3.16 Language Settings

The user can select language by the language settings menu.

3.17 Date/Time Settings

If the project without management software the users can set date, time and time zone manually.

If the project with management software, the date and time of monitor will synchronizes

automatically with management software. if the monintor connect with internet and without

managemnet software, the date and time of monitor will synchronizes with internet.

NOTE: Date and time cannot be saved after power loss, the time zone and date format can be

saved.

3.18 Password Settings

The user can modify the user pincode and distress pincode by the password settings menu.

NOTE: Default user pincode is 1234 and distress pincode is 4321.

Touch Installer Settings icon, enter the installer pincode.

NOTE: Default installer pincode:6666.

3.19.1 Monitor Settings

BLOCK: 3 digits (001-999) = block number.

ROOM: 4 digits (0001-9899) = number of dwellings.

MONITOR: 1 digit (0-9) = number of monitors per dwelling.

NOTE: There must always be a monitor with the extension 0.

SYNC CODE: synchronization code for extension monitor of the same household,

synchronization code must be the same.

SERVER: Server IP address that installs management software.

PINCODE: the pincode to be used when the monitor is registered in management software.

NETWORK SETTING: setting the IP address, subnet Mask, default gateway and DNS server.

NOTE: MONITOR uses static IP addresses mode, installer can use different network segments

based on the scale of the project, Ensure that each device has a unique IP address in same

installation. The devices will show IP conflict if there are same IP.

3.19.2 SIP Settings

ENABLE SIP: Enable or disable sip function.

SERVER: IP address of Sip server.

WAN: Sip server domain.

STUN ADD.: aduio and video NAT traversing public network server IP.

STUN PORT: The port of audio and video NAT traversing public network server.

SIP USER: The username of sip account.

PINCODE: The password of sip account.

NOTE: When the monitor is a sip device, Use the SIP account call SIP device or receive calling

other SIP device, you need enable SIP function.

3.19.3 Alarm Settings

ALARM Settings (only when installed).

MIO monitor built-in a 8 Zone alarm management option.

NOTE: 1-7 ZONE for sensor, 8 ZONE only for tamper.

Zone alarm type, equipment, port and delay information set each sector.

TYPE: delay,panic,24/7.

NOTE: When the type is panic, the alarm information is sent to guard unit and management

software, the monitor has no alarm sound.

EQUIPMENT: smoke,gas,ir,door,window,panic,tamper,sos.

PORT: 3C,NO,NC,BELL.

3C for sensor loop protect and need one match resistance(2.2K), the alarm will be actived if

the resitance value of loop change.

NO for the sensor loop is NO.

NC for the sensor loop is NC.

BELL for door bell.

DELAY: 0-60s.

3.19.4 Mode Settings

Set the Zone1 – Zone7 area in which mode (HOME, SLEEP, OUT) under the effect, selected

effective.

3.20 About

You can get this information: the device name, firmware version, MAC address, IP address

about this monitor.

4 Configuration via Web Server

The monitor has an integrated web server, allowing for configuration changes. This web server

is accessed via the monitor’s IP address.

The browser opens with the configured IP address of the monitor. A screen opens requesting a

username and password.

NOTE:

Default IP:10.1.1.1

Username: admin

Password: 6666

4.1 Main Menu

At main menu you can see the device name, IP address, MAC address, firmware vesion

information.

4.2 General Settings

BLOCK: 3 digits (001-999) = block number.

ROOM: 4 digits (0001-9899) = number of dwellings.

EXT: 1 digit (0-9) = number of monitors per dwelling.

NOTE: There must always be a monitor with the extension 0.

4.3 Network Settings

MEET system allows the installer to define the IP range according to the projects needs making

the network management easier.MIO MONITOR network mode is static mode. Ensure that

each device has a unique IP address in same installation. The devices will show IP conflict if

there are same IP.

IP: IP address of the MONITOR.

SUBNET: Subnet mask of the MONITOR.

DEFAULT IP: Default gateway of the MONITOR.

DNS: DNS of the MONITOR.

P.M. SOFTWARE: Server IP address that installs management software.

Registration PIN:The password to be used when the monitor is registered in management

software.

4.4 IP Camera Settings

This function allows you to configure IP cameras. IP cameras must be added manually.

IP CAM UNITS: IP camera Number, maximum is 8.

IP CAM 1: IP camera name.

URL: rtsp://user:password@ip address of ip camera.

User and password: For cameras that require a username and password for connection - these

fields are optional.

4.5 SIP Settings

ENABLE SIP: Enable or disable sip function.

SIP SERVER IP: IP address of Sip server.

DOMAIN: Sip server domain.

OUTBOUND: Some servers are used when NAT.

STUN IP: Audio and video NAT traversing public network server IP.

STUN PORT: The port of audio and video NAT traversing public network server.

USER ID: The username of sip account.

PINCODE: The password of sip account.

TALK TIME: Conversation duration, 120s, 300s, 600s, 1200s and 1800s.

NOTE: When the monitor is a sip device, Use the SIP account call SIP device or receive calling

other SIP device, you need enable SIP function.

4.6 Advance Settings

SIP EXT: The SIP extension is used as the extension of the Monitor. When the panel calls the

monitor, the SIP extension will ringing too. If one monitor or SIP extension answer the call, the

other terminals will stop ringing. The maximum of SIP extensions is 4.

URL: If call device of MEET system, URL: sip: sip account @ IP address of MEET device, the

sip account is optional, if call SIP device, URL: sip: sip account @ IP address of sip server

AUTO ANSWER: Enable or disable automatic answer. No answer within 10 seconds will enter

auto answer.

ONU: Enalble or disable the SIP penetration firewall function.

DTMF UNLOCK: Enalble or disable the DTMF.

ACCESS PIN: Characters required to be entered when the SIP extension release lock, such

as # or *, the characters for release lock can configure in the SIP panel. The monitor will send

characters for release lock to SIP panel when the user touch opening door icon.

4.7 Verification Pin

Activation for monitor maintenance at factory, not for installer.
