Total Harmonic Distortion (THD):THDisthedistortionofanormalACelectricalsignalcommonlycausedonUPSproductswhenconnectedloadsnearthecapacityoftheunits.Thisdistortioncancreateinternalheatbuild-uponsensitiveequipmentnotdesignedtoallowforthesealteredACsignals.TheEndeavorSeriesmaintainsanoutputACsignal,atalltimesandwithallloads,within2%ofatruesinewave.

Output Receptacle Control:Theabilitytoextendtheruntimeofcriticaldevicesduringanextendedblackout ishandledthroughtheEndeavor’sloadsheddingfunction.EachmodelintheEndeavorSeriescomeswithtwoindependently-circuitedreceptacle segments. Through the use ofMinuteman’sSentryPlussoftwareorcommunicationwiththeUPSthroughanEthernet/SNMPconnection,userscaneitherturnon,off,orreseteachsegmentindependentlyoftheother.ByreducingtheloadamountontheUPS,theruntimeofcriticaldevicesontheUPSbatterycanbeextended.

coMMunication FeatureSSimultaneous RS-232, USB and Ethernet/SNMP Communications: The Endeavor Series provides users with the ability tocommunicatewith the UPS simultaneously through threeseparateprotocols: RS-232, USBand SNMPUsers cannowdirectlyconnect,andmanage,theUPSfrommultiplestand-alone, or networked, computers. By includingconcurrentEthernet communications, (SNMP or direct IP address),the Endeavor Seriescanprovidedetailedmonitoringandmanagementtomanyvariousenvironments.
