Feed the Hungry Ministry ~ Keeping Them Warm Drive Saints, As the Lord says, “Give generously to the poor and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.” (Deut. 15:10 NIV). Let's give generously in our "Keeping Them Warm" drive. We'll like to collect NEW coats, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, and new or gently worn shoes/boots for men, women, boys and girls. Bins will be in the coat closet and down stairs for your donations. Please consider helping the needy this winter by contributing to this drive. Feed The Hungry ~ Christmas Baskets The Christmas holiday is upon us and the Feed the Hungry Ministry is requesting donations to give to those who won't ordinarily have food for the holiday. We are requesting each ministry make the following donations no later than Friday, December 20th. Diaconate/Media: 24 oz cans of green beans, greens peas, carrots etc. - Women’s Ministry: Large bag or box of stuffing mix - Men’s Ministry: Gravy and sweet potatoes - Youth and Young Adult Ministry: Instant mashed potatoes - Seniors: Cranberry Sauce - Music: Dinner Rolls (no earlier than Nov 17th) - Hospitality/Family Life: Boxed cake mix and frosting If you are in need, please reach out to Rev. Family Life ~ Women’s Bible Study Women of MPBC!! Will begin our monthly bible study and encouragement series—called the “Sisters’ Circle” that happens right here at MPBC every third Tuesday starting on October 15th at 7pm. In this season, the book by Dr. Tony Evans, called “Detours” will be discussed and facilitated by Rev. Nicole Ellis. Women of all ages are welcome to attend, so remember to Bring A Friend!

Family Life ~ Men’s Bible Study Calling All Men! MPBC is offering Men's Bible Study based on the “Authentic Manhood Series 33”. A journey to Authentic Manhood as modeled by Jesus in His 33 years on earth. Learn the founda-tion of Manhood (e.g., Design, Marriage, Fatherhood & Traps). Who are You? Why are you here? What is your Purpose? What is God’s plan for your life? Facilitated by Rev. Chris Brooks, starting Monday, October 28th; 7pm - 8:30pm with overview. Workbooks are $15 per person.
