Why do we organize MINI OLYMPICS at school?

School life can sometimes seem boring for the kids, but a day of running, jumping and throwing weights will do away with any cobwebs and hopefully inspire and excite them.

In Olympics, the athletes, swimmers, cyclists and sports people from all areas taking part in the world's biggest sporting event are highly competitive, dedicated and inspirational.

But, we thought we shouldn’t just sit back and watch, and decided to hold our own mini Olympics to see which of our children or their friends have got what it takes to be a champion.

FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Football Tournament among the classes was organized in May, and the winning team

received the Championship Cup. Students played hard and had fun during the

tournament; however they realized that “fair play” is always more important than

everything else in such games.
