    Who can apply ?Municipalities, municipal agency, a pre-qualified land trustand authorized organizations are all eligible applicants.

    Authorized organizations must be both tax-exempt underSection 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and registeredwith the PA Dept. of State, Bureau of CharitableOrganizations. The Pennsylvania Recreation Trails and the ATV

    legislation also allow eligibility for some private groups.

    What Amount Can YouAsk For?

    There is a grant request limit of

    $25,000 and a minimum of $2,500

    Where Does The Project

    Need to Be Located

    All projects must be within Cumberland, Adams,Franklin, or York County and have significant ties to the assets

    of the South Mountain, to the communities tied to theseassets, and to the working lands surrounding it. Applicants

    must submit in the application a list of all participatingpartners who would benefit or participate in the project.
