Learning how to cultivate a sense of ease and peace of mind in restoration of well-being
We welcome you joining the eight-week MBSR program which is offered in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Mindfulness is a basic human quality, a way of awakening our inner wisdom in managing daily distress by purposefully paying attention to the present moment and allowing us space to connect our mind and body. Through experiencing different mindfulness practices, we embody it in our everyday lives and nurture self-acceptance, kindness and self-compassion for better care of ourselves.
The program is based on the courses developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn and Dr Saki F. Santorelli who have pioneered the integration of mindfulness meditation in mainstream medicine and healthcare in the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical School found in 1979.
