Production department
• Receiving the raw milk, weighing and sending them for quality check.
• Chilling and storage of milk and processed milk.• Pasteurizing and homogenizing the milk.• Checking and dispatching of processed milk.• Executing the cleaning schedule for machines,
pipelines, vehicles, vessels etc.• Keeping records of procurement and dispatching
of milk.
Marketing
• Take the responsibility of disposing of• surplus Milk/Cream/Ghee/Fat outside the State in a
profitable way• Co-ordination in the supply of milk to Govt. Institutions• Promote sale of milk and products outside the State and
explore export market• Federation take lead role in Brand Management, Brand
Promotion, Market• Research and Market Intelligence

Procurement and Inputs Department
• Collect the milk required for the dairy and carry out many programs to enhance the quantity and quality of the milk production and procurement.

Human Resource Department
• Training need analysis and training plan on yearly basis.
• Most of the executives had been deputed for various management development programmes in national level institutions like IIM, XLRL, IRMA, NDDB, NDRI and the like.
• Networking programmes for effective collaboration with other partners in the diary development sector.
Accounts
• All the financial matters are being handled. The section is related to all the sections because production, quality control lab, engineering, marketing, P&I, etc…
• the account officer handles the money collected from marketing and the amount that should be given to societies for the payment of milk to the farmers
Conclusion
The firm has got almost all modern technique and most modern machines for the production and modification of the product. Milma have got number of loyal workers, staffs and controllers, whose coordination and loyalty on their works help them to meet their success. The firm gives more important to the quality and quantity of the product. Now this firm has become most important part in our society.
