TDC welcomed Jared Ford to the TDC Team September 2018. Jared brings over twenty years of design and construction experience to TDC having developed over 16,000 units across the country as well as over 800,000 square feet of retail and office development.

Since 2013, Jared has served as Senior Vice President for Charlotte based Crescent Communities where he ran Crescent’s national multi-family construction program. Prior to Crescent, Jared was a Group Vice President with Fortune Johnson, a large scale multi-family general contractor. He received his degree in Civil Engineering from Western Kentucky University and his master ’s in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Jared was born and raised outside of Columbus, OH. He and his wife Jessica have been married for 15 years and enjoy their two sons, Carson (10) and Parker (8). They are renting a house in Bellaire as they transition to life in Houston, TX. Jared’s true hobbies include Carson, Parker and Ohio State Football. Carson plays the piano and dabbles in robotics as well as video games while Parker favors sports (football, baseball, and basketball). Jared is a proud coach or assistant coach on his teams. Please join us in welcoming Jared to TDC!

Sterling Heights is a 675 bed student living community located steps away from UTSA and nearby San Antonio attractions. This projects features an expansive two-story fitness center, indoor game lounge, a study cafe and 12 private study rooms. Grilling areas and a hammock grove will accompany the two-tiered waterfall edge pool. The property will also host a computer lounge, bike room, tanning, and 6 levels of private resident parking. Residents will enjoy high end finishes including granite countertops, wood-style flooring, energy star appliances, large walk-in closets as well as a modern furntiure package in each unit. The on site leasing office opened in June and the community ’s first residents will move in August 2019.

Shelby was promoted to Assistant Manager and shortly after her promotion, her Manager, Alley, went out on maternity leave for 3 months. In the heat of the final push of leasing season, prep for turn and new to her position, Shelby nailed it! She successfully took the reins, ran the building, managed the team, achieved 98% occupancy when we were only budgeted to hit 93 and reduced delinquency! She’s a Rockstar! - Amy Snodgrass and the Sterling Campus Center Team

We would like to take the time recognize a Rock Star Team Member James McCorkle. James wears a lot of hats between Waterway and Six Pines-he is our social media champion at Waterway, he makes our monthly event calendars and coordinates many of the events for our residents while leasing for both properties! James is always there to lend a helping hand when we need him for IT or cable assistance. His knowledge and willingness makes a lasting impression and does not go unnoticed!
