AG/AGO series

The RF-enclosures of AG and AGO seriesare precision enclosures milled out of afull aluminum block. Their characteristic isa circuit board mounted with clampingscrews, so drillings are not necessary inthe circuit board. These enclosures arelocked with multiple bolted, 2 mm strongcovers, which are alternatively flush lok-ked or have a mounting flange exceeding10 mm on each side.

DimensionsThe enclosures of AG/AGO series are available in four different sizes, heightand width remain always the same andonly the length will change (please notethe drawing on page 6).

Content of deliveryThe enclosures are delivered according tothe defined order version, including allnecessary accessories. (enclosures withcover/bottom, screws for the cover-/bot-tom-and circuit board mounting as well asaccessories manufactured.)

ServiceWe do modificate enclosures, accordingto customer specifications, e.g. drill-holepattern and modified dimensions.

UC-series

The RF-enclosures of UC series are preci-sion enclosures milled out of a full alumi-num block. The circuit board is screwedonto a circulating assembly web, so drillholes on the circuit board are not necessa-ry. The enclosures are locked with multi-ple bolted, 2 mm strong covers, which canbe choosed as flush locked or as a moun-ting flange exceeding 10 mm on eachside.

The enclosures of UC-series are availablein four different sizes, whereby heightand width remain always the same, onlythe length will change (please note thefollowing drawings).

Content of delivery According to the defined order versions, theenclosures are delivered with all necessary accessories (enclosures with cover/bottom, screwsfor the cover-/bottom-and circuit board mounting,as well as accessories according to the design.)

TC-series

The rf-/microwave enclosures are desi-gned to built-in TO-8 devices, to insuresufficient heat transfer and ground connection to each module. Theboards can be mounted in close contactto TO-type enclosures.

All enclosures of PGS series are equippedwith a flat bottom plate and an inlaycover, which get screwed in the enclosu-res. The PGS series are suitable to built-inrf-components, hybrid circuits and allkinds of small components. PGS enclosures are very sturdy and exten-sively RF shielded. Enclosures, covers andbottom plates are made out of aluminum.All of our enclosures of the PGS serieshave the same height of 22 mm.If other heights are needed, see the Gseries.

The corpus of the enclosures are madeout of a square pipe. The enclosures areclosed with profile covers (see chapter“profiles”). These are designed once as flush lockedcovers and once as exceeding bottoms,like a mounting flange. Especially theyare suitable for mounting powers sup-plies, control devices, switches or similarcomponents. The profile webs in the bot-tom plate can be used as support.If other dimensions are desired, please seethe G-series.

FK series, 3 HU

For an optimum shielding of high fre-quency elements we have the perfectsolution: The FK series. These cassetteenclosures are milled out of an aluminumblock. The 19” plug-in modules are available in 6different heights. An extremely stableand robust construction is reached afterusing thick extrusion type side-pieces(4mm). Profile slots in the side pieces givethe user the possibility to mount variouscomponents sideways, also. The side pie-ces can be exchanged fast and simple.Drill holes and other mechanical modifica-tions, just like front panel lettering arepossible on request.The enclosures are delivered with hand-les, alternatively with chroming round barsteel or with cast aluminum. Differentsizes and versions of these 19” plug-inmodule are available in short-term. If notspecified, the bottom plate, the front andback panel are coated with a protectionfoil and the side-pieces are aluminum raw(vibro-finished).

The HK serie is available intwo different depths to take up Europecards with 100 x 160 mm or 100 x 220mm.Both cassette types are available in 4 dif-ferent widths (7 TE, 14 TE, 21 TE and 28TE). The distance of the guide slots for thecircuit boards is 1 TE (5,08 mm).We also supply the cassettes with lengthpartition walls on request.

Mechanical treatment

Front panels, back panels, enclosures andcassettes are offered with mechanical treatments also, that is drillings ,threads,millings, fuses, switches, LED´s, DC-feedthrough filter, etc.Various drill-hole patterns and standardmillings, which are needed to fit in com-ponents are saved in our CNC -machinesand can be retrieved fast.The drill-hole picture list makes it possiblefor our customers to specify standarddrill-hole pictures and standard millings.To manufacture, it´s enough to mark thedrill holes and the positions on a sketch. We´ll send you the CAD drawings of ourenclosures in which you can mark yourdrillings and millings, on request.Surface treatments, lettering with screenprinting or gravures are possible.

G = blasted Matt version, decorative. Recommended,if nickel-plated afterwards (problematicalat tapped blind hole).

C = chemical pickled, matt version (pro-blematical at fits) chemical nickel plated.The parts are powerless nickel-plated. Thesurface can be soldered. Layer 8 – 10 µ.

Anodized Aluminum parts are anodized.

Layer 15 – 18 µ. Decorative surface butnon-conductive. If requested, please spe-cify colour, e.g. colorless, black or anodi-zed similar RAL color scale.
