The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) offers $1000 scholarships each year to United States Service members and spouses of Service members who are working towards the completion of higher education degrees. Applicant must be a member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion and shall have paid dues for the two preceding years and for the calendar year in which application is made. Student has to of had at least one year of college and is in need of financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree. Deadline 1 March.

Army Nurse Corps Association

NBC Universal- SVA Scholarship

Student Veterans of America and NBC Universal have partnered to distribute 2, $10,000 scholarships to any eligible student veterans. In order to be eligible the student must be in pursuit of an Associates, Bachelors, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution of higher education and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Google - SVA Scholarship

Dolphin Scholarship Foundation

Grants are available, on a competitive basis, to high school or college children/stepchildren (unmarried, under age 24 at time of deadline) of: (1) members or former members of the Submarine Force who have qualified in submarines and have served in the Submarine Force for at least eight years; or of (2) Navy members who have served in submarine support activities (e.g., submarine bases, tenders, and rescue vessels) for a minimum of ten years. To be eligible for consideration for a Tailhook Educational Foundation scholarship, an individual must be a high school graduate and the natural, step, or adopted son, daughter or grandchild of a current or former (U.S. Navy / U.S. Marine Corps / U.S. Coast Guard) Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Naval Aircrewman. Also eligible are individuals or children/grandchildren of individuals who are serving or have served on board a U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier in ship's company or an embarked staff. The Anchor Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to eligible family members (children and spouses) of active duty, retired or honorably discharged Surface Navy personnel. Anchor Scholarships MUST be applied to tuition and tuition related expenses only. Mesothelioma Scholarship

Any student who has lived with and fought against any type of cancer, not limited to mesothelioma, is welcome to apply. We also encourage any students who have watched a family member or close friend go through the experience of fighting cancer. Deadline August 15. One scholarship will be awarded in September that year.
APPS—there are several scholarship apps available as Apple (iOS) or Android versions, and most of them are free. “SCHOLLY” and “SCHOLARSHIPS.COM” are shown below. The Scholly free join code for military and veterans is: SchollyForVets. Both apps will allow the scholarships to be located using search boxes or categories. Both of these apps have a web based version as well, so just do an Internet search for these titles and you’re good to go!!
