Each year, the Milford Soccer program, through Kickers Athletic Boosters, awards two $500 academic scholarships to two senior soccer players. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on the player's written essay describing what the Milford Soccer Program has meant to them. Scholarship recipients are selected by past/current parent admins that do not have a senior applying for the scholarship. Each year, the Milford Soccer program, through Kickers Athletic Boosters, awards two $500 academic scholarships to two senior soccer players. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on the player's written essay describing what the Milford Soccer Program has meant to them. Olivia Sheldon is the daughter of Jeremy and Angie Sheldon. Olivia is #15 on the field and is an outside defender. She’s played soccer for 14 years and played for MHS all 4 years of her high school career. She’s also played club soccer for CSA & Alliance Cincinnati. Beyond soccer, Olivia carries a 3.8 GPA. She will continue her education at either Ohio Uni-versity, University of Tennessee, or NKU. She plans to major in Bio-Medical to become an Obstetrician. In addition to soccer and school, Olivia also loves to work, kayak, and most of all, sleep. Olivia would like to thank all of her past coach-es for shaping her into the player she is today. She would also like to thank her family for all of their support, and lastly thank Hayden for be-ing an amazing friend and teammate on & off the field.

Mollie Vonderhaar is the daughter of Steve and Margaret. She has a twin brother, Sean, and a younger sister, Claire. Mollie has played all four years for the Eagles, two years on varsity. She started playing soccer at age four and has played for several clubs including BSC Elite and On Goal/Passion FC. Mollie is hardwork-ing and has a good attitude. She received the JVA Sportsmanship Award and Most Improved Varsity Athlete. Mollie also received the ECC Academic Award. She has a weighted GPA of 4.249 and is a member of the National Honor Society. In addition to playing soccer, Mollie is an accomplished flutist. She is a four year member of the Milford High School Band hav-ing played in the Concert Band, the Symphonic Band, and, for the last two years, the Wind Ensemble. She has earned superior ratings at the O.M.E.A. District 14 Solo and Ensemble contest every year and has been a soloist at several school concerts. Mollie also works with kids as an assistant for the Miami Township Recreations Department and maintains the bulletin boards in all the community parks. She plans to continue her soccer career at Mount Saint Joseph University where she will double major in Psychology and Music. Mollie would like to thank Pat, Damian, and Jill for giving her the opportunity to play for Milford and her club coaches Greg, Tom, Sommer, and Brian for always believing in her. Most of all, Mollie would like to thank her family for their contin-ued love and support.

Holly has been playing soccer since she was 3 years old and has developed a real passion for the game. You will find her watching her favorite local team, FC Cincy. She has played for the Milford Eagles all 4 years of her high school career, 3 on Varsity and 1 on JVA. She has been named a captain of her team for the past 2 years. She has demonstrated leadership skills both on and off the field. Besides soccer, Holly enjoys the outdoors and nature. She enjoys hik-ing, biking, kayaking, skiing and snowboarding to name a few. She enjoys visiting National Parks and appreciates the vast diversity that surrounds all our National Parks. Holly also enjoys volun-teering for different organizations. Her favorite is Over-the- Rhine Soup Kitchen. She has seen firsthand how her volunteer efforts have helped those less fortunate with-in the community. Holly has played club soccer since she was 8. She began with MTSC , then CSA and finally Alliance Cincinnati Elite. Holly has always been a hard working student and her GPA and class ranking show it. She has a weighted GPA of 4.427 and is ranked 28 out of 501 in her graduating class. Holly is also a member of the National Honor Society. She has committed to play soccer in the fall of 2018 at Capital University for Coach Og-den. She plans on studying Criminal Justice or Biology . She would like to one day work for the FBI in forensics.

Jess is the daughter of Sandi and Tracy Morgan and has a brother, Hunter. This is Jess’ 4th year playing soccer at Milford. She started playing select soccer at U8 with CSA and became a full time goal keeper at U11 for FOSC. Jess has also played at SCSA, TFA, KHA and will be playing at Cincinnati Alliance this spring. She is a member of National Honor Society and maintains a 4.0 GPA. In her free time Jess loves being with family and friends. She will be attending Malone University next fall where she will continue her soccer career and plans to study Finance. She would like to thank her parents, teachers and coaches for their constant support in her development as a player and as a young adult.

Known as “Sunshiny” by her parents and as “The Emma-nator” by her siblings (Joe, Elizabeth and Jack), Emma Netzel is the daughter of Tracey and Joe Netzel. She is concluding her 4th season in the MHS soccer program. Emma has enjoyed the sport for 14 years, learning her craft from such coaching legends as Pete Ohmer, Mark Rogers and Steve Vonderhaar. With speed and quickness inherited from her Father, Emma has earned varsity letters in Track & Field since entering MHS. Emma is part of Milford’s record-setting 4-by-100 relay team, which shattered a school record that stood for more than 25 years. Blessed with her Mother’s intellect, Emma is no slouch in the classroom, carrying a GPA of 3.9, which earned her membership into National Honor Society. She will continue her education next year at either Ohio State, Ohio University or Indiana Uni-versity.......if the State of Indiana abolishes it’s border with Ohio, thus making in-state tuition rates possible. Emma would like to thank the entire MHS coaching staff for aiding her development. Special thanks to Coach Jill for all she has done did to build Emma’s skills and confidence.

Maggie is the daughter of Pete and Sarah Ohmer, and has three siblings: Christian, Charlie, and Perrin. This is Maggie's fourth year playing Varsity soccer for Milford, and she is a team captain. Maggie has always played soccer. She began select with MTSC when she was seven, and has continued with CSA and Alliance. Mag-gie has a 3.9 GPA and takes AP courses. She is a member of National Honor Society. Maggie will attend Ohio Northern University next fall, majoring in Political Science and playing soccer. Lastly, she would like to thank her parents and family for all their support, and her coaches for pushing her to be the best player she can be.

Natalie Rogers is the daughter of Brooke and Mark Rogers and sister of Hannah. Natalie started her soccer career with Milford SAY at the age of 5. This is her 4th year playing Milford soccer and she’s proud to have been #9 all four seasons. She’s also played club soccer with CSA, Beechmont SC, and Passion FC. Natalie is a member of National Honor Society and plans to attend UC in the fall to study graphic design. In addition to school, soccer and work, Natalie likes to spend time with her friends. Natalie would like to thank her family and Roxy and Leo for their love and support, and thanks to all the other seniors and all the friends who’ve made playing soccer so much fun.

Bryn is the daughter of Dee Roberts and Mike Rolfsen and has one older brother, Ian. Bryn has been playing Varsity soccer at Milford for four years. She made her soccer debut at the age of 5 with the Purple Princesses, graduated to club soccer at the age of 8, and is finish-ing her pre-college career with Alliance Cincinnati Elite ’99 Gold. Bryn has a GPA of 3.9, is a member of the National Honor Society, and also plays basketball for Milford. She enjoys volunteering for local charitable organizations as well as hanging out with her friends, and posting snapchats of her Chocolate Lab, Zora. While she has not chosen where she will land for college, she knows she will play soccer and ultimately obtain a Law de-gree. She would like to thank her parents and brother for being her biggest supporters, Coaches Pat and Damian for their guidance, Coaches Greg P. and Greg H. for pushing her to be her best both on and off the field, and last but not least, all of her teammates both past and present, and their parents for being such important parts of her life.
