Description Anticorit 161/1 is a solvent-cutback, black, cold application which is used as it comes from the container. This product is designed for the protection of metals when exposed to outdoor weather conditions and for general purpose preservation, indoor or outdoor, with or without cover, for domestic and overseas shipment where a dry-to-touch film is required. Anticorit 161/1 is a solvent-dispersed compound which deposits a thin, black, hard but flexible continuous film. The solvent will normally evaporate from smooth surfaces, leaving a dry to handle coating in approximately four hours. The residual protective coating will adhere to metal surfaces without checking or flaking at temperatures as low as 0F. The product will retain its homogeneity after exposure to temperatures as high as 130F and as low as -40F. It will not cause pitting or etching of brass, cadmium, zinc, magnesium, aluminum or steel. Anticorit 161/1 may be applied by spraying, brushing, swabbing or dipping. The material to be coated must be degreased and free of any oils, greases or other foreign material.
