the source code: 5.20, 6.1, common.

Download the required tools and copy to usmi_tool directory.

Download and install Rational Application Developer

Use the RAD/Eclipse wizard to

create a new Java project.

Right click on build.xml Debug as

(3) ant build

Optionally choose the order of operation (clean, build)

To begin debugging 5.20, create a file called twgjava.propertieswith the

contents above, and save the file in the directory /data

Select the plugin of interest, and add a breakpoint at the desired location.

Start the export process by issuing smexport aNote: The executable is found in the directory \5.20\target\staging\bin

On RAD menu, choose Run Debugremote java application

Select the project to debug (5.20), update the Host (IP address of director server),and update the Port (same value as in

twgjava.properties).Press Debug

Wait for the breakpoint to be hit, and then continue stepping through the code

Debugging 6.1

To begin debugging 6.1, go to the directory \lwi\bin and edit the file launchlwi.batFind the line highlighted above, and uncomment the line (i.e. delete rem).
