APPLICATION STEPS

Once you have all the required documents proceed to the nearest ECOBANK branch and deposit the passport fee and get a receipt. The current passport fee is three thousand and sixty Dalasi (GMD3060).

Proceed to the GambiaImmigration Department in Banjul, passport unit and show them your payment receipt in order to get a passportapplication form.

Complete the passportapplication form with the required information and attach your documents.

Submit your completed passport application form with required documents and have yourbiometric data collected.

After your biometric data, including photo is taken you will be told when to collect your passport.

Passports can also be obtained at Semlex Complex in Kainifing following the same procedure as noted above.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants from The Gambia and others residing in the official territory of the Austrian Embassy Dakar must submit applications directly to the Austrian Embassy in Dakar.

Attach the required documents

Make a visa appointment with the consular services of the Embassy in Dakar, Senegal. Request appointment by email to [email protected] (the request must contain the reason and period of travel)

Attend the visa interview in person at the Embassy in Dakar

Once you have submitted all documents, click here to schedule an appointment.

When your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an appointment letter, which will provide details of the date, time and location of the appointment, along with other relevant information.

Print and bring along theappointment letter and all other documents to the interview.

Passport photo: Photo must be no older than 6 months

Passport: Original Passport or Travel Document with at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 2 visa pages clear of any markings.

Cover letter: Cover letter mentioning the details of the applicant, travel and details of the other members travelling with you.

Travel itinerary: Travel itinerary (travel reservation to and from the country/area in your name, not a ticket)

Hotel bookings: Hotel reservation(s) for the duration of your visit.

Bank statement: Applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement. If statements are printed online, then it has to be Authenticated (stamped) by the bank officials.

Tax returns: Income Tax Returns

Financial documents: Any other financial documents like FD, Shares, Mutual Funds, NSC, PPF, Property papers or any other financial documents.

DOCUMENTS REQUIREDWhen applying for a visa to the United States of America, there are two sets of requirements. The general conditions are compulsory and applicable on ALL whilst the varying conditions vary according to the type of visa being appliedfor. The general documents include:

Original passport with six month’s validity beyond arrival.

All previous passports.

One photograph per specification. Both digital and hard copy of the photograph are required.

DS160 US Visa application confirmation page stamped at the Visa Application Center (VAC).

Proof of fee payment, which is a valid receipt.

Printout of US Interview appointment letter.

Travel itinerary

Proof of funds (bank statement, copy of passbook, any other proof of cash).

Business card if you have one.

Letter of invitation from children or relatives.
